I really enjoy watching this show, it might not be the highest quality but it is really entertaining and it gives good stuff for thought, I find especially JAckson's father's theories really interesting. Was blown away with by the season's finale, so much happened!

The only thing dumber than the third rate cast is the z grade writing and pedestrian direction of this great high concept that unfortunately is utterly blown by this production. The VFX are at the level now, so it's a shame.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This show showed some promise at the start, even if it was clear that it completely diverged from the book. Toward the end of season 1 it got a little far fetched. Their cure made no sense to me at all. By season 2 episode 3 I gave up. An elephant almost being able to out run a car and plane, vultures making acid rain and flying off with bodies, and all that bullocks at the large hadron collider, sealed it's fate in my booked. Comparing it to the first season I think the special effects look a lot cheaper and computerized. Also one of the episodes is set in Lisbon, Portugal and they didn't even bother to show images of the real Lisbon and used some UK city to appear as Lisbon, and also the actors playing Portuguese characters. The same thing happened with the Brazilian actors who sounded more Latin AmericanComparing it to the first season I think the special effects look a lot cheaper and computerized. Also one of the episodes is set in Lisbon, Portugal and they didn't even bother to show images of the real Lisbon and used some UK city to appear as Lisbon, and also the actors playing Portuguese characters. The same thing happened with the Brazilian actors who sounded more Latin American Spanish than Portuguese. I still haven't finished watching the second season, but the quality of the first, even the storyline was far superior. The second season gets into a soap opera meets a cheap sci fi movie. Plus I hated the fact they cut one of the original characters and mix half a dozen new ones. Expand

We’ve got multi-animal assaults, a luxury jet that would make S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Zephyr jealous, new characters and a “Phase Two” twist that has upped the stakes, putting one hero in particular in a frightful situation.
