When is dad supposed to be cheating on his wife and hitting the bottle? When does he die?

When does Sheldon start college full time? Does his mother go with him, as hinted in BBT? If so, does this show follow Sheldon or split time between Texas/family and Sheldon.

Guess we are getting the alternate reality version of Sheldon’s childhood here. One would assume there are more seasons of this show on the planning boards.

Have seen online requests for a young Leonard show. Not certain that would work given the bad parenting Leonard supposedly received as a child (wrong vibe for a sitcom). Maybe Leonard as a young undergrad finally getting away from mommy might have some promise, though. Young Penny (even teenage Penny as a cheerleader ruling her HS) is another miss if it was set on a Nebraska farm (not enough plot line material unless the neighbor on the next section of land is a young Clark Kent). If prequels won’t work, then is a sequel for Raj and/or Howard going to work as poorly as “after MASH” did for a subset of that cast?

Maybe we should just hold out for a BBT reunion special in about 15 to 20 years.
