The series is very disturbing, it catches you from the first chapter. It's bittersweet, you just enjoy and suffer at the same time.

This show is the best show I have had the pleasure of watching since 'The Vamp Diaries.' It's engaging, sexy, dangerous, psychologically stimulating, and recklessly romantic. It romanticizes insanity and over exhaustion of obsessing over someone who has a hold on you. Every emotion the characters portrayed you were right there with them. You felt their heartache, their laughter, their bond and their incredibly riveting sexual attraction to one another. Joe and Beck were amazing together. Though I did fall in love with this show, I was a little disappointed that Beck totally lost all respect for Joe when she discovered his hideous secrets towards the end of the show, this is where it gets interesting. After I said that, you're probably thinking "hmm, wow this girl is insane. No woman wants to be with a man who gets murderous." right? Allow me to explain further and explore why exactly this disappointed me so. Every decision and action Joe made was because he was intensely in love with Beck. Though some of these decisions were considered hanous and unforgivable..you still are on the fence about Joe because you like him so much yet he does these horrible things and acts on his deep impulses and it's frightening! I had mixed emotions through the entire show but towards the end I was madly in love with the storyline. I just wish Beck would have dug deeper into her consciousness and came to this conclusion as well. Instead she became hostile and scared and extremely hateful towards him. If you watched this show and you're anything like me, I know you'll understand my point of view here.. I'm a little crazy for love and if I were in her shoes I would have forgiven him for everything and fell in love even harder because he fought like hell for that girl. And honestly, a little crazy-in-love vibe is inviting and seductive in a man, I believe. It was so brutal but it was so intense and weirdly romantic. It stuck with me for days after finishing it. I was taken with this show. You're definitely experiencing a lot of mixed emotions. Great watch!

The story demonstrates how an individual might plausibly convince himself that murdering annoying and selfish people is morally justifiable – or, perhaps justified within the context of loving and protecting someone.

The plots are intriguing and hold your attention. From an abnormal psychological disorder analysis, this particular mentally ill individual might not quite fit into what might be taught in a college introductory course in psychology. It is that inconsistency of abnormal psychological behaviors mixed with normal behaviors that make the story interesting.

The psychopath’s dichotomy of behaviors plays out over the first season and culminates as the first season concludes.

As a strange plot device, the psychopath has an inexplicable habit of keeping items that prove he has committed murder - which occasionally are discovered by others.

The acting is very good as are all the technicals… editing, directing, casting, etc.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. La trama me parece envolvente y sin duda muy original, aunque hay detalles en el show que no me gustaron, como la última escena de la temporada dos. Expand

I oftentimes have to search for the title of certain shows or films on the internet in the hopes to find a MetaCritic link. The first season was intriguing with a few comparative devices to the Dexter series but quite forgivable to bring the genius of that show to a younger audience. That being said, I would give season 1 a 6 because it had not yet quite gelled into its own at that point

Season 2 was a vast improvement over the first. With a more 3 dimensional love interest who was extremely well cast. The supporting cast was also top notch and well fleshed out. I also really enjoyed the spectacle of spoofing the incredibly shallow people in L.A. Tee hee although, could have gone further but would probably risk cancellation for the sacrilege. There were so many textured personalities that were put on display it felt like how one of those cupcakes must have tasted baked by Love. I give season two a 9.. it really was that good.

Currently on episode 7 of season 3 and I have some misgivings already. It bothers me when they paint a portrait of say the incredibly vain and shallow neighborhood vamp/villain and then do an about face and she suddenly is spouting Gandalf level wisdom and advice. WTF? The other thing which really is the main thing that I have a problem with is that so much of this seasons premise is based on everyone committing adultery. Not only do I despise adultery but it makes me sick to my stomach how it is portrayed as the ," new normal". Almost as if the subtext is taken straight from the BLM website advocating to ," destroy the western notion of the nuclear family" before they realized that people actually read their mission statement before they took it down. I also feel that this is not consistant with Joes' character that has been established. Joes' motivations are no longer trying to contain his murderous impulses but rather to contain his adulterous impulses.. THAT IS A MAJOR SHIFT IN THE WHOLE PREMISE of the show!!! ... last thing.. doesn't everyone know that wireless baby monitors can be picked up with most basic of scanning devices? I bet that is going to come back and bite them in the butt. We will see. I will update this review once I'm done with this season.

Dios santo, cuanta basura junta. No le doy un 1 porque por lo menos es palomitera y vale la pena verla un rato para burlarse de lo penosa que es a ratos. Es otra telenovela de papá Netflix, totalmente olvidable.

Show only continuous due to Joe being the luckiest murder on the planet. Of course, you can suspend belief but this show has frequent events that would be solved by so many of the people calling 911. While I watched this season of YOU as quickly as I watched the others, I did not find it as captivating as the first two seasons. I found myself searching for more. I felt like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. In the last two or three episodes, I found myself trying to keep up with the fast paced nature that Joe and Love developed this season. Nothing seemed as calculated and thought out, but this could be because Joe was not the one making the decisions for the couple. Like season two, we continue to see more about Joe's childhood to help us better grasp his character. Of course, he also manages to find a few more people to obsess over- this does not sit well with Love. For me, the redeeming quality of this season was that they addressed different types of relationships. Relationships do not look the same as the did 40 years ago, and I think that they are only going to continue to change as time marches on. Because of shows like YOU that give alternative relationships recognition and validation, people can and do feel more comfortable pursuing their preferred lifestyle. 6/10 60/100

This show has a repetitive formula and I don't care. I'm a sucker for internal dialogue and Joe gives plenty of that with the stupidest conversations in his head. Even with the formula, every season feels very different.
