Enjoyable mix of comedy and some truly dark moments. The collaboration between brit and yank works well. Mathew Baynton and Joel Fry are a good pairing and bonus Bronagh Gallagher!

I have seen only the first installment of "You, Me, and the Apocalypse" and I enjoyed it immensely. Yes, much more freely conceived and written than usual network fare, on a par with very good cable fare. Does it have a point of view? No clear point of view after three episodes.

Honestly I wasn't expecting that much of this show, but I was wrong. This Half British/Half American/Dark Comedy/Drama was really enjoyable.

It offers nice comedy moments, some good twists, an enjoyable cast from both sides of the pond and a good plot.

Not the TV show of the year, but a decent one, and looking forward to a second series.

I found myself getting increasingly disappointed as I got through the episodes, feeling like a good story was just one great twist away, and it never got to that point for me. It felt like the whole show had too much going on and could have been so much better by focusing on the main plot points more instead of the boring and overall pointless parts it tended to focus on

Can't stop watching, just enough twists to keep you guessing. The Brits really know how to write dry humor... Rob Lowe as the voice of reason? C'mon, really?

I watched the pilot episode so far. I came away with the feeling that this was going to develop into a Lost type of show, built mostly upon flashbacks and 'what they were doing when' type of story arcs. There was another show a couple of seasons back where an airliner was going to crash into something, and they tried to develop a similar set of story arcs.

If YMatA does as well as Lost, good for them. But shows with a lot of flashbacks rarely keep my interests.

After having watched this from it's showing across the pond I liked how it started but then found out Rob Lowe ditched the show to take the Grinder (which it turns out I also couldn't stand). Distracting as I was constantly watching for his characters exit. The first couple of episodes were entertaining and different, but then it got so contrived I stopped watching it all together. British TV is seldom bad. "You, Me and the Apocalypse" isn't bad. But, it isn't good either, and it's certainly not good as far as any British TV show that gets recognition across the pond. I think the main actor fails at his "second role" in the series. Pam from the office is out of her element. It's better than U.S. network TV, but that's not saying much.

I like apocalypse-themed movies and shows, and I thought I would like this show. I don't really see how this show could get so many glowing ratings, and I'm even a bit suspicious. Maybe it will pick up by the end of the season, but there seems little room for surprise, and little room for growth.

If you want comedy, watch Rick and Morty, or old episodes of Peep show. If you want an apocalypse show, watch "The Leftovers" and watch season 2 twice. If you want something mindless, with sub-par writing, to watch in bed before you pass out, "You, Me, and the Apocalypse" will suit your needs.

The first season rocked ! Good (sometimes dark) humor, great acting, nice story and good diversity of characters. Really enjoyable ! .

Delightfully twisted and strange TV series, full of great character actors and lots of fun acting. Did this actual air on NBC, because it's pretty mature for mainstream networks? Whatever the case may be, it's still a fun show.

I enjoyed this I just HOPE that NBC will pick it up for more episodes since it left off the way it did. The worse thing the networks do anymore is never give shows a chance. its a wonder we even watch the big 4 anymore.. Hopefully it will play out, I am curious what will happen. On the show and being picked up

Sweet , smart , intelligent , deep and funny . But have one big problem , it needs a second season or the rating is 0 since nothing is really finished . Without a second season all that become a little of a insult to the viewer.

I was never into British TV show so much but good thing this one is half-American made.
I love the show, but waiting for the finale to see the fate of earth made it boring. The finale was everything though. You won't see it coming!

This show was great, funny with plenty of OMG moments and drama. Finally a show that was NOT a crime or medical drama or lame talent look at me reality show. The final episode ending twist was a fall off the couch jaw dropping WTF!. Figure the network idiots cancelled it.

Not only is the plot lacking in both humor and intensity, but the storyline wastes the talents of a strong ensemble cast.

By the time You, Me and the Apocalypse” starts making sense, you’ve either abandoned it or forgotten to watch it.

The good news is that most of it is swiftly and creatively entertaining and imaginative--which it deserves more credit for but won’t get because of its obscure heritage and hourlong, sometimes dark approach to comedy. If you’re looking for something different, though, give the end of the world a chance.
