Kate Berlant & John Early have been real long-time friends and collaborators, so they created this fake doc. They play a comic duo that was once famous, but broke up and are back on TV to reconcile. They play a comic duo that was once famous, but broke up and are back on TV to reconcile. This is based around a talk show hosted by Meredith Vieira, but it cuts away to various silly sketches with the duo playing other characters. Both actors have the ability to be funny, but most of this lacks punch. It seems very improvised and self-focused, lacking almost any truly successful or even remotely funny moments. We'd be happy to laugh, but their stuff just doesn't "kill."… Expand
