The writers and animators of WondLa do a good job of bringing Tony DiTerlizzi’s vision of an evolved Earth to life, and the voice cast is able to make the show funny and accessible to adults as well as kids.

This story may take place so far in the future that Earth is almost unrecognizable, but its boilerplate narrative and stock characters give a nagging sense of déjà vu.

There may be much younger viewers who can appreciate some of the show, but for more mature kids with a hunger for reading, they’d be far better off skipping this to dive into the superior source material.
