The casting and performances hit the mark. Hard to imagine the underlying premise in the wake of current social circumstances. I found the performances stellar given the subpar writing and concept. I only watched this because I am huge Lamorne Morris fan (New Girl) and that alone helped me struggle through all 8 episodes hoping that the writing would improve. This is salvageable but they have to give the concept and writing a much harder look. I won't watch season 2.… Expand

I really wanted to like this show and was hoping Season 2 would be better than Season 1 (which I couldn't get through). Unfortunately, that's not the case. Same issue: Good acting. But really bad writing. As a result, it never reallyI really wanted to like this show and was hoping Season 2 would be better than Season 1 (which I couldn't get through). Unfortunately, that's not the case. Same issue: Good acting. But really bad writing. As a result, it never really transcends being hackneyed shallow d-level sitcom fare. Worse, it's not funny. I'm giving it 3 stars cause I think the actors did a really noble job working these scripts. But it's a hard pass for me. Do better, Woke!… Expand
