Jul 24, 2018Show 1 was a bit of a damp squib - but episode 2 was Baron-Cohen at his best. Pushing the limits of what he can get away with delivers plenty of great moments that I won't spoil, because half the magic is feeling your jaw hit the floor as his targets repeatedly fall into the traps he'd laid.

Jul 23, 2018And here I thought liberals were the easily offended, sensitive "snowflakes". Seems like some conservatives are embarrased to be associated with the ignorant idiots who appear on Who Is America? Or maybe the don't like to be shown for what they really are.

Jul 16, 2018Sacha Baron Cohen is back and his nihilistic humor in today's depiction on modern day politics never ceases to amaze me! Hi Five!
-
Jul 18, 2018The most I've laughed in a while. Shows the true character of many politicians in America. People rating this 0 are Republicans, I guarantee that.
-
Jul 23, 2018MAkes fun of extremes on both sides, but the insanity of the right is clearly seen.

Jul 18, 2018Pretty dissappointed by the usual Media. These quite bad Reviews seem to just point out that it is okay to make fun of Right-Wingers and guncrazy people, but as soon as someone also tries to make fun of liberals or the far-left its "cruel".
The series is so far on point. Really well done and perfectly shows how divides the USA is. -
Jul 17, 2018Cohen's singular brand of extremist, trolling satire is a much needed counterpoint to the political extremism of our current climate. Between exposing the shallowness of Trump supporters and the immorality of the Republican party itself, Cohen's punches are well-deserved and hit home in a particularly effective way.

Jul 17, 2018First episode is awful. Scripted, low effort, hateful. Every interview subject seems to be in on the script. They did a great job with the makeup at least
-
Jul 17, 2018I miss when his humor was apolitical. It's much harder to laugh when there are real lives being affected by some of the issues he's poking fun at. Sorry Sacha, try again.
-
Jul 16, 2018difficult to find any entertainment value in this exercise of taking advantage of people's good will.

Sep 18, 2018"Who Is America?" is a little hard to watch/digest overall and some of the characters and their schticks can get a little redundant, but it is Cohen undoubtedly back at the top of his game. What more could you ask for really?
-
Nov 16, 2018Could of been epic if the trolling went both directions....but like all of Hollywood......it's decidedly lefty-Lucy and therefore feels lopsided and somewhat predatory.

Jul 29, 2018Perfect series that shows how ignorant & racist the people are, just put them in front of the camera and they'll act like apes, Americans might not be laughing but the rest of the world is!

Little more than a Borat clone.
-
It’s funny, outrageous, broad--and scary. Some of the material is gratuitous and crude, for sure. ... But most of the show is remarkably on point.

If the figure is guided by skepticism, as in the case of Sanders, the segment transforms into an endurance test of tried patience. When the subject reveals weakness and vanity, then the way forward is clear for Baron Cohen to agitate and produce savage satire.
