    I never thought I would be where I am now, a quantum physics professor at Harvard. I didn't used to be that man I am today. Not even close. But that all changed in 2006.

    The year was 2006. It was a hot summer day in Arlington, Texas. My wife had just left me and taken the majority of my possessions. All I had was 17 dollars and the rags on my back. I sat in the on the corner of Wilson    I never thought I would be where I am now, a quantum physics professor at Harvard. I didn't used to be that man I am today. Not even close. But that all changed in 2006.

    The year was 2006. It was a hot summer day in Arlington, Texas. My wife had just left me and taken the majority of my possessions. All I had was 17 dollars and the rags on my back. I sat in the on the corner of Wilson Blvd and Engar Blvd. I sat down on the sidewalk, slumped over on the wall like a low life rat. People walked by, paying no attention to my presence. I was awaiting death. A brown paper bag of dog feces and a old heroin needle was still stuck in my arm. I was pathetic. The faint whispers of citizens passing by said, "how worthless", "Why doesn't he just kill himself" and "wow. that guy's life is really bad." I took it all to heart.

    In my mind I said to myself, "This is it, i'm going to end it here and now." I stood up and looked behind me. A large sign that read, "Family Video." I looked through the window and saw the racks of DVDs. Mindlessly, I meandered into the store, completely high. The store was empty with no employees present. I looked down one of the DVD sections and saw a small set up. I approached it. On the table lied a large "block" like TV and a DVD player hooked up to it. On top of the DVD player was a DVD case. The text on the case read, "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior." The took the DVD out of the case and placed it into the DVD player and turned on the TV. Immediately, the movie began to play. I sat there on my knees, starring at the screen.

    By the time the movie ended, I had been purified. It was like one million angels came out of the screen and went into my soul and purged all the evil demons out. Right away, I started the movie over and watched it again and again and again. Hours later I stood up and I heard a voice behind me. I looked behind me and saw who it was. It was Wendy. She said to me, "Don't worry. it's gonna be alright." Then she turned into dust and blew away in a gust of wind.

    Ever since that day, everything has been alright. My wife came back to me. I went back to college at Princeton and got my masters in quantum physics. I was gifted a giant mansion in Boston where I got a job as a professor at Harvard. I will never forget that day I accepted Wendy into my life. Wendy was there for me and helped when times were bad and she will be there for you as well.    … Expand

    Water... Earth... Fire... Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. The strongest fighter, the Homecoming Warrior, master of all four elements, lived among them. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.

    I awoke from my slumber when I heard a strange noise downstairs. It was almost as if someone was running. Confused, I slowly dragged myself out of my    Water... Earth... Fire... Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. The strongest fighter, the Homecoming Warrior, master of all four elements, lived among them. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.

    I awoke from my slumber when I heard a strange noise downstairs. It was almost as if someone was running. Confused, I slowly dragged myself out of my bed. I glanced at the clock and it said 4:35 AM. I knew something was wrong. I nudged open my bedroom door quietly and snuck towards the balcony and looked down into my living room. As I listened closely, I heard something quite peculiar.
    I sneaked downstairs and peeked around the corner. I gazed into my kitchen, horrified, to know that one of my worst enemies had invaded my house again: the Hamburgler. He was raiding my refrigerator of all the sandwiches and hamburgers. I was enraged. I tried to sneak up, but I slipped on an ice cube that fell out of the freezer and I hit the ground hard, and everything went black.

    I awoke again on the floor of my living room with a pool of blood around me. I had been impaled by a giant flagpole. I looked around to see where it came from, but there were no clues to be found. I was slightly impressed, considering the Hamburgler was able to impale me with a flagpole. But then it hit me…I HAD BEEN IMPALED BY A FLAGPOLE. I screamed in pain as I tried to remove the flagpole from my stomach, but there was no effect. All hope was lost. That was, until I noticed my DVD player had a special, golden plated DVD next to it. I made out the title to be Wendy Wu, Homecoming Warrior. My vision became more blurred as I began to see black circling around me. However, just before the blackness overcame me, I heard a voice. “Put in the DVD,” it said. I looked around, but saw nothing. Since I had no other hope, I decided that I might as well do this last task. I reached for the DVD player, inserted the DVD with all my might, and watched in awe the inspiring cinematographic masterpiece that was Wendy Wu, Homecoming Warrior. As I watched, the pain from my stomach slowly went away. I forgot about all of my problems. I regained my consciousness, and ripped the flagpole out of my stomach. I no longer felt pain. I was going to find that Hamburgler, and make him pay for eating all of my sandwiches.
    I regained my strength knowing that Wendy Wu was always by my side. I kicked open my front door and spotted the Hamburgler running for his life. I charged up and jumped straight into the air, releasing my power with full force. Fire was circling around me as I ascended into the atmosphere, and I saw Wendy, for a slight second, watching me from the sky. She nodded, and my eyes turned glowing red in rage. The Hamburgler turned around in horror as he saw the fireball in the air heading straight down toward him. I screamed in rage as I got closer, and hit the ground, causing a massive crater and crushing the Hamburgler. I backed off, but then I noticed that he was still breathing, however. His body was crushed, but I could see his eyes stare at me in horror. I walked up to his broken body and charged up a punch with full power. I released, sending the Hamburgler into the sky and disappearing into space.

    I never felt the same again after I let Wendy in to my life. I will use my new powers to be her servant. I will carry out any will she has. I will work all day and all night for her. I will become her Homecoming Warrior.    … Expand

    This production from M. Night Shyamalan is a work of pure genius. This movie ranks among the pantheon of legendary motion pictures, such as Sky High, The Last Airbender, Jack and Jill, and Herby: Fully Loaded. Its plot is action packed, with a plot twist that even Shyamalan did not see coming, and he directed it. The special effects in this movie make James Cameron's Avatar look like PowerThis production from M. Night Shyamalan is a work of pure genius. This movie ranks among the pantheon of legendary motion pictures, such as Sky High, The Last Airbender, Jack and Jill, and Herby: Fully Loaded. Its plot is action packed, with a plot twist that even Shyamalan did not see coming, and he directed it. The special effects in this movie make James Cameron's Avatar look like Power Rangers. The characters are deep and their motives are deeper than Mariana's Trench. No one really knows why Wendy Wu has to be a homecoming warrior, but what I do know is that this movie gets more controversial than Cannibal Holocaust. This movie's kung fu ranks among the best, surpassing movies such as Kung Fu Hustle and Kung Pao: Enter the First. Wendy Wu could take a steaming dump on Bruce Lee. It tackles adult themes such as taxes, mortgages, and the political state of the Middle East, without a misstep. It is a work of pure artistry, and belongs in the Louvre. The sex scenes rival Michael Bay's Fifty Shades of Grey, and are sure to get the audience riled up and hot. Overall, this movie is a must watch, even for the smallest of children. The Mona Lisa ain't got nothin' on Wendy Wu.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Since a Dragon Ball Z live action thriller movie doesn't exist this is the closest you can get without actually making a Dragon Ball Z live action movie -- preferably directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The parallels between this and the Dragon Ball Z anime series are unbelievable. I'll just use the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, the Saiyan Saga, for the purposes of this review. Let's start with the main characters: Wendy Wu and Goku. Both of them face seemingly insurmountable enemies; Goku must face the Saiyan warriors when the entire Earth is threatened and Wendy Wu must eventually face the evil Yan Lo. However, both Yan Lo and Goku must train before they can even consider fighting their nemeses. Goku, after being killed by Piccolo, find King Kai in order to become strong enough to fight the Saiyan warriors. Wendy Wu, while she remains living the entire time, is located by the great and venerable Buddhist monk Shen. by training with their respective masters they are eventually able to overcome their individual and unique shortcomings and, in return, defeat their nemeses. At the end of the day, while no TV show or movie or any other form of entertainment will ever be able to top Dragon Ball Z in terms of sheer quality, character development, and immersion, Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior comes in at a close second.… Expand

    I live in a small village on the island of Ching-Ze-Lang off the coast of china's northern borders. we don't have much there. Life is a drag. we usually work in the rice patties all day. farming rice. Rice is our islands biggest source of money. we don't have much. and what we do have we have to make. For example, when small boys come of age, they are sent out to gather lots of sticks.I live in a small village on the island of Ching-Ze-Lang off the coast of china's northern borders. we don't have much there. For example, when small boys come of age, they are sent out to gather lots of sticks. they come back to the village and have to create their house with nothing but sticks, mud, and cow feces. after the house is complete the boys, now men, get to choose a woman of their choosing to be their wife. Anyways, back to the reason i am writing this review. One time a few years ago, the whole village decided that we would all pool our money to buy a village TV and a movie. we spent everything we had. we got a old 32 inch TV and we only had the money for a single DVD. How did you decide what movie to buy? you might ask. it was simple. We put it to a vote. the choices were, Kung Fu Panda, Kill Bill Vol.1, and Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. we had the vote and the final score was Kung Fu Panda 15, Kill Bill Vol. 1 26, and Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior 47. Wendy Wu it is.

    When Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior finally arrived by an air drop. We gathered everyone. we stopped farming in the rice patties and we all gathered in the town square. we told the village that it had arrived and we all started to cheer. We started the movie. By the time it had finished, the whole village was stuck in a daze. They had never seen, heard, or imagined something as powerful as the story that Wendy Wu told us all. We all abandoned our god and started praying to Wendy Wu. we hoped and prayed that someday she will bless us with a second movie. From the first time we got the video and until this day. Every Sunday night, we gather in the square and watch the enlightening "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior". So if you are thinking about watching Wendy Wu. its a simple choice. watch it. love it. embrace it.    … Expand
