absolutely brilliant, captivating and exciting. we are watching Ted Lasso but IRL, those are real people and not some characters, so you cheer for them twice as hard. life is the best screenwriter.

Very underwhelming. All the big decisions (firing/hiring etc...) are only alluded to; we are left with a fait accompli when a new manager and player is announced to leave/join the team. All the interesting bits are left to the imagination of the viewer and we must sit through Zoom sesssions of unfunny pandering and patronizing bits of various "people in charge" or mockumentary bits on theVery underwhelming. Plus, the second Hollywood "star", McElhenenny or smthg like that, is a douche.
I give 2 points because Welsh people are great and their gaelic culture deserves better treatment.
Better watch that Lakers documentary, even though we freaking hate them.

What an utter waste of time and money....this is no "real life Ted Lasso." It's 2 rich, bored men who bamdoozled their way into wasting my time.

A different take on the sporting doco series that comes across as a hybrid of Ted Lasso & Sunderland Till I Die. It is all a bit too feel good but the real strength of this series lies in the people of Wrexham.

That cow in a green dress ruined second to last episode. More Ryan and Rob next season.

If you found Ted Lasso too cloying to watch, Welcome to Wrexham might be more enjoyable, as it’s a less-dopey version of the same story. But all Ted Lasso viewers—or football/soccer fans in general—will appreciate Welcome to Wrexham as a pacifier while we wait for Season 3.

It helps a great deal that in this series both Reynolds and McElhenney are a) funny, b) don't take themselves too seriously and c) give the fans and players a voice throughout. ... It's a little gem.

Welcome to Wrexham is at its best when it spends time with the resilient players and their stubbornly devoted fans. [29 Aug - 11 Sep 2022, p.7]
