    The Botwin saga (or rather the Newman saga) continues. Season 6 welcomes the currently clandestine cannabis clan as they emigrate from Mexico to Seattle following an altercation with a former nemesis (former being the operative word). Although it pushes plausibility to the limit, the show is still as enjoyable as ever, with the new Seattle cityscape opening a new realm of possibilities;The Botwin saga (or rather the Newman saga) continues.     I must admit I really love it when the show gets good writers or they find their 'groove' again, Season 6 really seems to be getting it together again and some of the dialogue is very funny and very well written. I would really love this show to stay on track and really focus on what it is about WEED! = ) Perhaps the writers could actually smoke some WEED and put their escapades orI must admit I really love it when the show gets good writers or they find their 'groove' again, Season 6 really seems to be getting it together again and some of the dialogue is very funny and very well written.     Weeds returns for its sixth season and this time the Botwin Bunch are on the run. Even though the characters are running from their problems, it seems that the writers instead are running from the problems that seasons four and five brought to the show. Even though the characters are running from their problems, it seems that the writers instead are running from the problems that seasons four and five brought to the show. Weeds has always been able to maintain its levity that gave it a realistic touch and, surprisingly, has regained the balance between dark comedy and light drama that it lost in season five. It seems as though Weeds is getting back to business and bringing back the show it had left behind. While it has lost many great aspects it had in earlier seasons (mainly Celia, Conrad, Heylia, the city of Agrestic and its social satire) it goes on without them, not even taking a look back. Wither this means that it can go on to become a great show like it was in previous years is unknown. However, all we know for sure is that it has kept Nancy on a very long journey and this time she is going back to her roots, the drug business.    … Expand

    this show is extremely annoying, each episode is a gamble as to whether your 30 minutes will be wasted. In the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th season you were guaranteed that each week, you were not wasting your time. However somewhere during the 5th season, weeds lost that feel. i must say that if Kevin Nealon ( aka Doug Wilson) was not on weeds i would have stopped watching somewhere during the 5th season

    Much like weed itself, Showtime's proverbial drug comedy has always had it's highs and lows. However where season 5 was more the shwaggy stuff from the corner, season 6 is more the high-grade stuff you order from your doctor. The new on-the-go plot setup is a breathe of fresh air from the more stagnant approach we are used to. It has given light to a realm of new ideas on how they canMuch like weed itself, Showtime's proverbial drug comedy has always had it's highs and lows. However where season 5 was more the shwaggy stuff from the corner, season 6 is more the high-grade stuff you order from your doctor. The new on-the-go plot setup is a breathe of fresh air from the more stagnant approach we are used to. It has given light to a realm of new ideas on how they can incorporate the main seller for the show; a family selling pot and all the problems/benefits that come with it. If you were disappointed with Showtime's season 5 product I must inform you that they have a new supplier; and his stuff is bomb!… Expand

    This show is has gone downhill a lot since season 4. It has gotten better since the beginning of this season, but the show is still on shaky grounds. The show isn't even about Weeds that much at all anymore!

    This was my favorite season of Weeds. I really liked them on the run. Yet another great season ending. I love Mary-Louise Parker. Great acting all around.

    from a goofy suburbia satire this seasons became a great Odyssey through what America is today- and becoming tomorrow- Bravo for the Humpty Dumty terrific comeback- it took three chapters but it turned out to be one of the best shows today on TV- Hope it will go on . Go Nancy . but hey Rubicon was canceled so what can I say, It's the guys and gals up there in the decision makingfrom a goofy suburbia satire this seasons became a great Odyssey through what America is today- and becoming tomorrow- Bravo for the Humpty Dumty terrific comeback- it took three chapters but it turned out to be one of the best shows today on TV- Hope it will go on .     This season is the worst one. It's just not that exciting or funny. But it's needed to push the show into a new direction (season 7). It leads up to make season 7, which is pretty good.

    When I tell you that Weeds is off to a good start with Monday (Aug. 16) night's sixth season premiere, you have to know that what I'm saying is that it's pushing the story forward in interesting ways, not that Weeds has gone back to being the show it was in Season Two.
