I prefer Slut Creek. Vastly superior in every way. Slut Creek just wants to have fun, but Virgin River is judgy.

Virgin River is quality TV series for everyone wanting to enjoy family friendly time watching Netflix. I was mad when they cancelled Anne with an E, and when they announced this I was skeptical, but the performances are fantastic and the entire cast shines on the screen. I binged on the entire two seasons and now I'm left wanting more! Expand

Standout performance by Alexandra Breckenridge who leads the cast as Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner who moves to Virgin River after a personal tragedy. Her co-star Martin Henderson plays Jack Sheridan, a ex marine who develops a immediate friendship and attraction to Mel and we see some wonderful moments between these two characters who light up the screen with electric on screen moments throughout the show. The storyline is well paced and the supporting cast compliments the two leads. This is a great show which hits all the right emotions and captivates the audience who are rooting for Mel and Jack from the first episode onwards. Netflix has renewed for a season 3 but this show deserves a lot more seasons - it is a binge worthy show and streaming numbers show the continued growth of its audience and appeal. Highly recommend.
