    Not sure what happened in the off-season, but season 2 is disjointed, confused and short on cohesive narrative. The actors are still strong, but the storyline are weak and without a compelling narrative the show falls apart.

    It wants to be Vikings so bad, but fails miserably. They really should gave framed this around what was going on in England, but so far it's just a disjointed exploitayion of the original show that is too short on action and plot. It's the worst of the final seasons of Vikings but with no recognizable characters.

    Way better than the first season. It was very entertaining. Beautiful costumes and scenery. Lots of action and adventure. Highly watchable.
    No black female Earl this time. Lots of girlpower though.

    Vikings: Valhalla is rich with history, the gore and glory of battle, and lusty romance. But its ensemble cast is also uniformly strong, with characters on all sides of the geopolitical and religious struggles at the heart of Valhalla having gained some valuable perspective.

    From start to finish, Vikings: Valhalla Season 2 is a non-stop, breathtaking, utterly relentless foray, following beloved characters into the unknown as they seek their destinies. It is both utterly satisfying and so rich and packed with even more to come down the line that the wait for Season 3 now feels longer than ever.
