Feb 1, 2017"Victoria" cannot compare to "Crown" when it comes to acting and writing, but for a PBS aired series, is isn't that bad. There are some British shows that are slow-moving and drawn out: This is not one of those programs. As a mini-series I give it a "thumbs up." At least it is more entertaining than some of the TV shows Hollywood is turning out today.

Jan 19, 2017We have seen so many recreation of young Victoria life and his romance with Albert that it is boring. Making things worse everybody is too good looking for their respective roles.

Moving uncertainly in fits and starts, the handsomely produced Victoria nonetheless gleams with first-rate performances. The overall storytelling execution is poor, but individual scenes can be quite rich in detail and nuance.
