Bad bad bad television with a lower-case "t". I can't believe anyone would watch this show. Why?

Can't believe that Fox would air this show. They should've reshot it, and recast Gale Harold, who really has changes since queer as folk. He looks heavy.

Why are all the characters in this show so old? I though Fox was supposed to be a young hip network! At least Prison Break has Wentworth Miller....

Vanished was a big disappointment for me, probably because I was looking forward to it so much. Maybe if my expectations were lower I could've liked it more.

I wonder why all the worst shows are so aptly named. You think Hollywood could learn its lesson.

How could anybody like this show, and why would anyone ever watch it again after last week's dismal debut! Let's have some standards people.

I like the story line, although we weren't really given the chance to care about the vanished victim. Loved, loved ,loved Agent Kelton-want to see them delve more into his background and family as it pertains to the plot. I liked the Senators son, but I don't trust him. I thought Judy Nash was too over the top and is every cliche you can think of for a reporter. Who's the lead of this show? Ming or Gale Harold? There's like a weird split in point of view that left me confused about who the main character is.

Ok..I have to be honest...I watched the show because of the main character Gale Harold, and there were certain parts in which I was really into it, but even though I am a die hard QAF fan and I would love to support my QAF alumi..I have to say that so far I am really mised because some of the acting is really bad...Gale has his moments on the show but there were certain times when he was Ok..I have to be honest...I watched the show because of the main character Gale Harold, and there were certain parts in which I was really into it, but even though I am a die hard QAF fan and I would love to support my QAF alumi..I have to say that so far I am really mised because some of the acting is really bad...Gale has his moments on the show but there were certain times when he was kind of off his game also. I mean it is ok but I honestly can not say it is the best show out there ..and not better than 24 at all...I'm sorry to sya it because like I said I love my QAF alumi but if they don't step it up I don't forsee a brilliant star of a hit with this one Expand

Gale Harold's stellar acting in this show makes it shine, rising about the otherwise ordinary combination of CSI, Lost, and The Da Vinci Code that it is. Kudos to Fox for casting such a winner in the lead role!

This is what you'd get if Without a Trace somehow turned into a cartoonish conspiracy chase thriller.

Lacking "Prison Break's" tough milieu and its initial narrative drive, "Vanished" doesn't exactly scream "Watch me." Nevertheless, it's polished enough and very much a work in progress.
  3. The pilot moves along at a cracking pace, introducing new clues and characters and settings so fast that it's very tempting to sit back and enjoy the ride, ludicrous though some of it may be.
