    Vampire Knight is a fun anime to watch. The storyline is interesting and tense, you always want to watch the next episode to see what happens next. It has a beautiful soundtrack that really gives the whole vampire mystical ambience. The animation is exceptional, it's very detailed and well drawn.

    I'm shocked to see that this series hasn't been reviewed. I thought that with vampires being all the rage with teen-girls in reacent years, this will gain popuarity. Guess I was wrong. But I still love this series as a guilty-pleasure.
    That's right, let's get it out of the way - I'm a dude and I like this series a lot, let me explain why.
    As always, this being an anime, I must talk about    I'm shocked to see that this series hasn't been reviewed. I thought that with vampires being all the rage with teen-girls in reacent years, this will gain popuarity. Guess I was wrong. But I still love this series as a guilty-pleasure.
    That's right, let's get it out of the way - I'm a dude and I like this series a lot, let me explain why.
    As always, this being an anime, I must talk about the animation, and the quality in this series is pretty high. Most animations are very fluid and beautiful, the designs are memorable and I love the overall gothic feel of it, because I'm that sort of a person.
    Next up I want and need to discuss the soundtrack, because if there is ever a need to watch this series, its to hear the music, and my god, is it amazing. I rarely let myself loose it like this, while writting a review, but it's really that good. The music is what kept me watching this series, and even now all of the tracks are on my MP3 player and are amongst my most-played tracks. The soundtrack is of very high quality, and even the oppening weird japanese song is awesome with very strong lyrics. I seriously urge you to give the OST a try, especially if you like gothicky classical music (Casltevaniaish).
    And, to the most important part of it all - the story. The story is no different than any other romantic drama - it's useless and overcomplicated. It even ruins itself a few times, but I honsetly didn't care. The characters are very cool in their special japanese way, and I couldn't help to enjoy watching them play their game. The story isn't genious, inovative, strong, or anything other than entartaining really - it has some great action scenes, a lot of suspence and some really unexpected moments.
    This all being said, this isn't a deffinitive anime series, but it's a good one. Again, and I can't stress this enough - the soundtrack is amazing, and out of all 7 points I'm giving this series, around 6 are just for the soundtrack. I say you should give the series a try - if you enjoy the first episode, you will probably enjoy the whole thing, and I do really recommend it. It's really cheesy, but in a good, hypnotising way.     I wonder why this anime is so underrated among people. Beside great soundtracks and different characters in this anime, you can gain so much details from the story. Even you can think about it as symbolism and so on... It's fantasy, love story and mystical with Gothic theme songs and atmosphere. It has an entertaining story but at the same time it is really strong story. I can tell theI wonder why this anime is so underrated among people.
