Aug 30, 2020I love this show, it makes me laugh. I have seen negative comments about this show. I am beginning to HATE to watch any of the network channels because they don't give things a chance anymore to develop. And when they do they cut the show after 2 to 4 years like they did with "Man with a Plan". I hope this gets more life, but knowing the networks I fear the worst.

United We Fall has all the right pieces. ... But those pieces just don’t coalesce into a show that rises above its tired premise.

United We Fall isn't very good overall — at least not in the two episodes sent to critics (only two episodes, despite having completed production months ago) — but both episodes feature at least a couple of those moments that seem specific and authentic.

The meanderingness works towards the show’s view of family life as perpetually catch-as-catch-can; in all, “United We Fall” may not in its first two installments represent a startlingly new way forward for the sitcom, but it fulfills the brief pleasantly enough.
