    While the premise of the show could be interesting, Poppy Montgomery's continuous simpering flirtation with her male partner is totally off-putting, and she doesn't seem at all interested in really portraying a cop.

    What's special is something a bit harder to define, notably the chemistry, which Montgomery and Walsh have in abundance. The supporting cast is excellent, too.
