Tyler Perry show Ruthless which airs on BET brutally desecrates the treatment of women. Tyler Perry and BET are using their platform to turn violence and sexual assault against women into a form of entertainment. Tyler Perry and BET are using their platform to turn violence and sexual assault against women into a form of entertainment. In one scene a woman is beaten and the order is made that the children must watch so that they can learn. In another scene a woman enters a room where there are 7 nude men who hold her down and gang rape her and it is characterized as an honor. Children are said to be trafficked as a means of financial support. This show has no place on American TV and at the very least should be rated X. Please support me in sending a message to Tyler Perry and BET that we will not accept the glorification of abuse against women.
