Most high school boys would love the idea of a well liked girl living under the same roof, but for Shinichirou it is really quite frustrating. Shinichirou knows the pain that Hiromi must be feeling since the untimely death of her parents but cannot work up the courage to talk to her about it. While thinking of ways to express his sorrow for Hiromi, Shinichirou paints watercolors of her and tries to figure out how to talk to this tormented teen in True Tears.
