Sure there is a grand story: they're saving the future by ensuring several wrong things don't happen so they don't combine to form the final catastrophe, but the show brings up the important pieces of this little by little, in interesting and surprising twists, and keeps us on the edge. Just when you think it's about to settle down and become procedural it throws another thing at you out of nowhere that looks like it's changing Everything in the space of a few minutes. This is highly compelling TV, and if you can't see that, maybe you're oversatured and need to step away from digital media for a while. Expand

What can I say? I'm a huge fan of the show. I stumbled onto it last week and started watching season 1 and followed watching season 2. I'm somewhat glad there were only 2 seasons, otherwise I would still be watching. The show has great characters, individual character development, and character interaction and depth. They are 3-Dimensional with real relatable issues and real problems. What can I say? I'm a huge fan of the show. The show has great characters, individual character development, and character interaction and depth. They are 3-Dimensional with real relatable issues and real problems. The struggle to adapt to their hosts lives while maintaining their mission purpose is believable. Yes, it's a Sci_Fi show, but the technology does not get in the way of the story. One becomes vested in the future of the characters and their arc. Marcy and David's relationship, Trevor, an old soul in a high school student's body. This scenario gives credence of what would I have done differently or how would I have acted if I knew then what I know now. How would we be different. Would we be different. Phillip and his personal struggles and burden. Carla's own issues, and of course Grant and his relationship with his wife, for whom he has genuine feelings. I like how they live their cover lives, but place the mission as priority 1 and literally drop what they're doing when called upon, damn the consequences when they have to pick up the pieces in their cover lives, which are becoming part of their real lives.

Fingers are crossed for season 3.

I watched the first season hoping this would go somewhere, it never did. A few episodes of season 2 and I'm done now. There is no grand story being crammed into limited time, instead the time is filled with boring music and the boring senseless lives of the hosts.

The only likable character was Marcy v1... so they reset her! I guess everyone needs to be hard and cold. Her interactions

The only likable character was Marcy v1... so they reset her! I guess everyone needs to be hard and cold. Her interactions with her boyfriend were mildly amusing... so they broke them up! The show is deliberately bad.

The show is hand waiving and randomness that they're struggling to make up as they go along. They sprinkle in a little randomness with the mountain of filler and hope that can keep people tuning in to see where it goes.

Every now and then they lie about some science relying on the viewer not to know any better.

I was curious how this has such a high imdb rating so went and read those reviews: here's the first line of one of them: "One of the strong points of this show is that it isn't overly ambitious, pretentious, or scientific." - basically someone likes it because it is stupid and doesn't hurt their brain. Most of the rest of the reviews are praising it for being all Canadian, are excessively formal like professional reviews citing the name of the creator... I bet the entire production staff review bombed this.

Its a great show and the concept is interesting, but some of the episodes don't make sense (down to a director issue), few episodes i just skipped scenes and even decided to skip the s2 season finale half way through as it just didn't make sense. each episode is either a hit or miss and the consistency sucks.

fresh air wish I found it sooner to watch the story and acting awesome I don't know why it was cancelled you could get at least 3 more seasons so much potential , do not understand why good shows get cancelled and reality trash gets kept on. There isn't much descent stuff on Netflix to this level and it gets cancelled stupid business sense. I prefer seasons 1&3

It’s still too early to tell how this season will fare from just the first two episodes. There appear to be too many disparate plots, some without appealing characters. But based on the promise of Vincent, and what havoc his story can wreak on the others, we’re willing to be cautiously optimistic about what’s to come. For now, we’re in.
