Sigh...our characters travel through something that looks like it was stolen from a game (Hall of Echoes, Divinity Original Sin 2), where they are accosted by a terrible entity that says mean twitter things to them. Luckily we have two MarySigh...our characters travel through something that looks like it was stolen from a game (Hall of Echoes, Divinity Original Sin 2), where they are accosted by a terrible entity that says mean twitter things to them. Luckily we have two Mary Sues in the group, who are able to to get them out and to their next destination. There they argue over who wants to be the dragon reborn, and a CW YA love triangle is revealed to the shock of book readers everywhere. Later the actual dragon reveals himself through a 30 second montage that shows scenes from previous episodes but now altered (I know, crazy isn't it?) to prove that the person is indeed the dragon reborn. The writers seem to get lazier and lazier the closer we get to the season's end.… Expand

Everything about this was contrived. Absolutely no pay off in the Dragon reveal. Hard to believe they wasted so much effort on a pointless "twist"(?)

The writers must've had absolutely no enthusiasm or care for their work. Just trying to get a paycheck.

When the show is not deliberately rewriting strong, admirable male characters into misogynist strawman tropes for the feminist showrunner to use as a punching bag, it is wasting precious runtime by injecting weak drama with out-of-nowhere,When the show is not deliberately rewriting strong, admirable male characters into misogynist strawman tropes for the feminist showrunner to use as a punching bag, it is wasting precious runtime by injecting weak drama with out-of-nowhere, poorly executed love triangle plots. The episode started out with a fight scene that was so implausible that it should have had a laugh track, and the episode just got more and more cringey as it went on. This episode was the proverbial shark jump for a measurably underwhelming show. For seven episodes without fail, the showrunner has prioritized his own woke messaging at the expense of Robert Jordan's wonderful narrative, and there is no sign of that slowing down. The best that book fans can hope for at this point is an early cancellation.… Expand

O episódio surpreendeu já no começo, e todo o desfecho de uma narrativa que estava nos sendo mostrada, gosto muito da personagem Nynaeve, ela é orgulha sim.. mas é uma defesa da personagem.

One of the better episodes of the season, with a lot of focus on relationships and the reveal of the dragon reborn + best cold open.

This was a solid episode - strengths for me include using the Ways to explore character's fears, exploring Nynaeve and Lan's connection, and this episode's development of Rand.
