This is one was a pleasant surprise and Oscar worthy. Excellent production work coupled with rich acting. But ‘critics’ and their vacuous views aside, Terminal List is a very well made show and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of action thrillers not obsessed with identity politics. The show’s paced fantastically well, with a number of unexpected twists and turns, and is shot beautifully. A special mention also to Chris Pratt, who is exceptional as the lead.

It's hard to make me impressed these days and these series did it. Incredibly well made. Screenplay, editing, music all blends together so well. I will admit- after the first 25 minutes of episode 1, I thought the show was a bit generic and noped out. The Terminal List is one of the best shows I've seen, military or otherwise.. This may be my favorite work from Chris Pratt!

I stand by this review, and would recommend everyone watch this show!

Very good show, throwback to the Bourne movie era that focuses on action, complex story lines, and conspiracy. First episode takes a little time to hit its stride, but when it does, it kept my interest. Chris Pratt does well in the starring role.

This series is a master-work. One of the all time greats of TV action-thrillers, constant twists and turns, rapid action, well executed plot, exceptional acting, moments of intense emotion and catharsis, a constant and very human morality, and a sense of reality that is refreshing. I started watching, expecting I would take my time with the series...

Ended up binge watching it all in one night.

Personally put this on the same tier as Game of Thrones and the Expanse.

The revenge theme was set up well and him taking out his list was justice served. This is not a PG effort and did well with the realism from combat to how fights work. Fuqua, Carr, Pratt, etc... can be proud of doing a straight up old fashioned thriller set in modern times but with timeless themes of family, brotherhood, justice, revenge, betrayal - well done and highly recommend.… Expand

I love this show! It is written by a former Navy SEAL so there's a level of authenticity that makes it much more believable and compelling. The whe thing is an action-packed thrill ride start to finish. Strongly recommend!

Fantastic show. They did a pretty good job bringing the book to the screen. Obviously books are always better, but I'm looking forward to seeing more of James Reece. I highly recommend reading the series by Jack Carr.

I had genuine concern when I heard Pratt was cast as the lead and sure it follows some well-tread paths but on a whole The Terminal List is a great show and it needs to continue

What a great show. Love Chris Pratt, and this show is just fantastic from start to finish. It keeps you engaged, and is excellent from the combat angle if you enjoy firearms and combat study or just want to be entertained, you'll enjoy this.What a great show. I read all the books before seeing this show. I was worried that it would be watered down, but this thing is gritty. Every episode looks like a movie. It would probably look great on the big screen.

Read the book and there are some change but I see why they did it, just like they did with Jack Reacher. Chris does a great job, the action is awesome and it's well paced. Will watch it again for sure.

This was a good show and we want more (speaking for 8 of us here). It kept us at the edge of our chairs wondering certain things (no spoilers). Loved the characters, acting, score... good stuff. We definitely need seasons 2 to 10. Thanks!

The underlying tragedy of special forces troops driven to breaking is well covered here, and it is no surprise that the powers seek even more insidious ways to turn men into machines. The struggle of Commander Reece is impressive, forging himself from incredible personal tragedy to a single-minded purpose of revenge and justice, using sheer willpower to overcome physical and tactical challenges with ease. Taylor Kitsch adds a much-appreciated sidekick role, quite different from his usual chaotic performances. The cast is well selected and drives the story forward. This 8 part series packs a wallop, and during tension-filled sequences I found myself laughing out loud in relief, or grimacing in anger. Pratt has demonstrated versatility, and his moments of reflection on loss are very touching. I am just amazed at the complaints from mainstream media. There is no agenda in this show, let alone a whiff of woke, and that is how it should be - a show based on the merits of fantastic storytelling and great action, regardless of gender or origin.… Expand

Thoroughly enjoyed the series and I didn't expect to either but the series pacing ensures like a master stroke you are never waiting long before something goes down. That's probably my biggest gripe with tv of today the pacing is painfully slow to build a huge crescendo or show down not with the terminal list. Chris pratt is also likeable as the protagonist but also at times I disliked his ruthless nature but this here had a potent message that said to me well your not supposed to understand him he is from a different world we as an audience
Will never understand and his motivations we can never truly relate to unless you suffered what he has. Critics don't always don't get it right they certainly got it wrong with last jedi and now this. Guilty pleasure watching… Expand

If I had to sum up the show in one word: gripping. Don't want to spoil it, but this show kept me guessing with its unreliable narrator. Also, Christ Pratt can REALLY act, he's GREAT in this! It's a well done show, well researched. You can tell when they had actual experts on the production team, like with For All Mankind. It gives it that authenticity that most movies and shows only dream of, because they really are just cheap knock offs of the real thing.… Expand

This is what we have come to with so called "professional movie critics" on the internet. In fact, I could probably do a better job at proper reviews than these trolls.

I'm a liberal and I thoroughly enjoyed this show. ANYONE who's actually watched the show would know that there isn't any right or left-wing agendas involved in this series. Because not everything HAS to be about politics. Critics should get that through their thick skulls. In fact, the user ratings, and the Amazon Prime Video charts show how utterly out of touch with reality these "critics" are. They wouldn't know what good entertainment is even if it slapped them sideways across the face.

The show is a military-spy thriller masterpiece by Antoine Fuqua. It has tons of action, suspense, and plot twists for the viewers to enjoy. Chris Pratt does a great job in embodying the internal and external struggles of a paranoid soldier suffering from PTSD. The pacing is also good, keeping the sense of dread and tension up with very few sluggish moments. The reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because I didn't enjoy some of the lighting work. I understand the story is very dark, but did we really have to make everything look as black as possible? I had to turn my screen to maximum brightness just to make out the details of some scenes. Also, plus for Asian representation in the cast. I'm glad to see more shows feature people that look like me :)… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Great show. Liked it a lot after I finished watching it, but while looking back on it I realized just how good it really was. Pratt puts in a very believable performance, best yet. Nothing took me out of the show while watching it either… It was a really refreshing take on a this genre. The final twist ending was… okay… but still didn’t take anything away from this story as a whole. Would recommend… Expand

It tells a classic story. Yes, it's true, but it conveys it in a beautiful, exciting way. Acting is good. The action scenes are well shot and feel good. It's not a must-watch series, but it's quite enjoyable. If you have time, I suggest you watch it.
