Summary:
"The Spectacular Spider-Man" chronicles the life of sixteen year old Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. After being bitten by a radioactive super-spider, Peter Park gained incredible powers. Dedicating his life to fighting crime, Peter struggles to maintain his school life and his life as a superhero. The first season premiered on Kids' WB! & The CW4Kids, while the second season premiered on Disney XD.
Broadcast History:
"The Spectacular Spider-Man" premiered on Kids' WB! on March 8, 2008 at its regular timeslot of 10:00am (ET). The series continued to do so even after the network was renamed The CW4Kids. On March 23, 2009, the series premiered on Disney XD with three episodes starting at 7:30pm (ET). First season episodes continued to air on Monday nights at 7:30pm (ET).
Season Two of "The Spectacular Spider-Man" premiered on June 22, 2009 with two new episodes at 7:30pm (ET). New episodes continued to air Mondays at 7:30pm (ET) until July 27, 2009. After taking a short hiatus, the series returned with new episodes on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 9:00pm (ET). The one-hour season two finale premiered on November 18, 2009 at 9:00pm (ET).
