    Take away the two pointless storylines (past and future), and this could have been a decent season. However, the three storyline format never finds its footing and the pacing is horrible at times. Honestly, I'm glad this one came to an end.

    It’s a thoroughly decent exploration of the contest between ethics and burgeoning power, as well as a war of wills between a messed-up, morally “flexible” patriarch and his progeny.
