part comedy, part drama, part I don't know what Nathan fielder has broken all natural media conventions to bring us a Frankenstein's monster of a show that gives a true insight into what it means to be an actor and more importantly human.part comedy, part drama, part I don't know what Nathan fielder has broken all natural media conventions to bring us a Frankenstein's monster of a show that gives a true insight into what it means to be an actor and more importantly human. extremely creative show, absolutely astonishing how Nathan elicits an emotion that is something I haven't experienced with a show before. An almost disgust mixed with fascination making you feel bad for watching but at the same time you need to know what comes next. Expand

Incredible, one of the best series of the year, Nathan Fielder made a revolutionary masterpiece

I was a huge fan of Nathan For You - but this is just more of the same. No reinvention, just a more absurd premise. I do not understand all of the high scores. This is an incredibly frustrating show and his decade old schtick doesn’t work in 2022.

Nathan Fielder made his rep with Nathan For You, where he parodied business consultants by pretending to help people with outrageous suggestions (I never watched it). This concept takes matters to a big-budget level with a unique concept: ANathan Fielder made his rep with Nathan For You, where he parodied business consultants by pretending to help people with outrageous suggestions (I never watched it). This concept takes matters to a big-budget level with a unique concept: A deadpan Fielder helps people prepare for major moments in their lives by staging elaborate…and I do mean elaborate…rehearsals for the event. The first ep revolves around a man who has a secret he needs to tell a friend, while the 2nd challenges a woman who thinks she wants a baby with the real thing….sort of. Even though it may be billed as a comedy, this is more an absurd version of reality show that explores human nature in unusual ways. Even so, it's sometimes surprising, endlessly fascinating and truly unique.  (Review based on 2 of 6 one-hour eps with new ones released every Friday.) Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was very excited when I read that there is a new Nathan show and it was even better than I imagined... Though in the last episode I nearly accepted Nathan to offer adopting the child. But you never know what comes up in season 2. Expand
