The fourth and final season of the show. I should warn you that they expected to get a fifth season greenlighted and did not finish the story arcs here because of this. Sadly they did not get another season so there will be no resolve. They made 2 movies to wrap up the story but those also do not give much closure and are hard to find at least in my country. Sadly they did not get another season so there will be no resolve. They made 2 movies to wrap up the story but those also do not give much closure and are hard to find at least in my country. As general set up: The series is about Jarod which has the mental capability to impersonate other peoples mindset to near perfection (=Pretender). This make him the ultimate problem solver. He got abducted by an organization as a child which used him for their (often shady) gains and he escaped as a young adult. The series is about him searching for his family and using his ability to help other people while the organization tries to get him back. The series is a bit like The A-Team. Jarod solves the problem of the week with his abilities and continues. The overarching story arcs are the search for his family, the hunt for him and the many shady secrets of the organization. Also Jarod is quite unfamiliar with many things he did not experience so he is a bit unworldly (Sweet's, toys, comics etc.) but is now acclimated to most things. Season 3 ended with the most spectacular cliffhanger. Jarod has been captured and Miss Parker has been hit by a bullet that was aimed at her father. Season 4 continues shortly after the events. Like the other seasons it has the more of the same approach. Jarod solves the problem of the week while the main plot enfolds. For the answers you get more questions. Sadly like I said it ends here without solving the general arcs or answering the big questions. I was disappointed by this while I see the episodes as really good. Without this I would lean into a 9-10/10 rating but over the years the unanswered question are like a thorn in my flesh. Overall it is a really good season but I will lower my rating to a 7/10 because of the missing resolve.… Expand
