May 3, 2017Every bit as good as the superb first season The Office again demonstrated that it was one of the most original, intelligent and funny comedies ever created. The fact that so many successful shows, from Parks & Rec to Modern Family, have copied the format in some way is a true testament to how ground breaking this show was.

Mar 3, 2013The show just got better, the writing is still as good and manages to make you laugh and sad. overall one of the best TV shows ever created. Ricky and Steve should be really happy their hard work has paid off.

Apr 27, 2015Great stuff again from Gervais and co. Martin Freeman is the most underrated actor in the UK. The writing is pin-point accurate and the guest actors hold their own.

Jul 20, 2019Second Season is even better than previously. It's darker, jokes are heavier and deep, serie really shows that doesn't got fear go far with this kind of humor, which, by the way, got its apex about let watcher very unconfortable, shameful and even sad. The Office is a very intense kind of humor, for a few people

Jul 11, 2014Honestly i like the us version better, especially because of Steve Carell. Gervais is a genius but his series always are to **** short, can“t get completely into it

Feb 5, 2017The humor -pranks included- preserves the quality of previous season. Emotive and funny farewell for David, the best boss in the world of the best job place to be in the world.

Jan 6, 2021Everything that made the first season so good (the writing, the acting, the awkwardness of it all) hasn't diminished in the second season.
Genius.

It takes a real artist's eye to concentrate reality so realistically, and a true wit to pull it off in a sitcom that makes you gasp as frequently as it makes you laugh. [10 Oct 2003]

The six-episode first season of "The Office" was so dark, so wicked, so brilliant that it was hard to imagine Gervais and Merchant topping themselves. But they have. By slowly chipping away at David's power base, they've made him even more desperate, petulant and bullying. (The less funny David gets, the funnier the show is.) [10 Oct 2003]

Dark, sly, ironic, subtle, brilliant. ... A taste for British humor comes in handy in watching "The Office," though. If you're bothered by deliberate (but tongue-in-cheek) bad taste, raging political incorrectness, sexual innuendo or comedy involving large sexual toys, or if you just don't get satire, "The Office" may not be right for you.
