The Night Agent is arguably better than ever in Season 3, delivering more focused, character-driven storytelling with skimping on the action.

The Night Agent is still perfectly good “watch while doing laundry” TV, but it feels like the third season is even more lunkheaded than the first two, and the absence of Buchanan is huge.
