    Slowly got better as the season went on. Marc Warren is a great villain and solid replacement for Capaldi, who left the show for Doctor Who. The main plot, between the main villain and the Queen, is great but the lack of sub plots left a lot more open for character development. The plot with Porthos and his father wrapped up disappointingly and the same with D'Artagnan and his secret love.Slowly got better as the season went on.
