It’s largely a procedural…right down to the final court case…but it’s also a solemn yet absorbing drama. The show’s strength comes from watching the case slowly unfold and the effects it has on the remaining family. This is a really good and creepy crime miniseries. The acting and writing are uniformly good. I watched all 4.5 hours of it in one sitting. The fact that it is a true story is truly disturbing.
