    This show is great. It is always funny. The cast has great chemistry. They are just a working family with three very different kids. They are such a likable family that a lot of people can relate to. Hope this show sticks around!

    Deserves to win the Emmy for best comedy series and Patricia Heaton for best actress in comedy series. The series evolves much from one season to another, the cast is fantastic.

    The Middle used to be REALLY funny and well-written last year. However, there has been a significant change with the show. It's become extremely cliched and predictable and boring more than anything. What used to resemble Malcolm In The Middle with fast pacing and witty jokes has become an extremely bland sitcom. In fact, the worst episodes of Malcolm put this whole season of The Middle toThe Middle used to be REALLY funny and well-written last year. However, there has been a significant change with the show. It's become extremely cliched and predictable and boring more than anything. What used to resemble Malcolm In The Middle with fast pacing and witty jokes has become an extremely bland sitcom. In fact, the worst episodes of Malcolm put this whole season of The Middle to shame.

    If you want a sitcom that is boring and slow-paced and will only appeal to moms because of its so-called relatability, this show is for you. But if you want a sitcom about a dysfunctional family's wacky adventures that never fails to be funny but relatable at the same time, check out the first season of The Middle on DVD or simply catch the reruns of Malcolm. (Although Modern Family is WAY BETTER than The Middle, it's not usually a wacky show.)    … Expand

    Just like the first season, this is another solid series of the show with every episode a highlight providing non-stop laughs. Its the characters and the actors portraying them that make the show rather than the actual content itself, but overall a highly enjoyable show that I love to kick back and watch

    All the performances are skillful, with Heaton and Flynn especially adept at conveying an affection--for each other, for their kids (who also include Atticus Shaffer and Charlie McDermott)--undimmed by their weariness.

    With each passing week, this series seems to more assuredly offer a first-class version of what so many viewers say they want: a humorous, heartfelt, realistic look at middle-class, middle-America family life.
