I thought it had some good laughs. Nothing mind-blowing, but decent. In my opinion Kaitlin Olson is basically playing a similar character to Sweet Dee from Sunny, and if you like her in that, you'll probably like her in this.

Kaitlin Olson manages to bring her charisma from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and incorporate it a new silly storyline. It's not amazing but it fulfills its purpose.

OK let's start by saying that I know I may not be the target audience here but aside from that I loved the first episode of the show plenty of laugh out loud moments to be had here it's sweet charming and funny doesn't try to be anything more or less than what it is and no Mackenzie isn't a role model parent but that's the whole point in good time she is going to learn from her mistakesOK let's start by saying that I know I may not be the target audience here but aside from that I loved the first episode of the show plenty of laugh out loud moments to be had here it's sweet charming and funny doesn't try to be anything more or less than what it is and no Mackenzie isn't a role model parent but that's the whole point in good time she is going to learn from her mistakes as she makes them she is sweet and funny though I suggest watching this it's loads of fun and it's super funny Expand

Kaitlin Olson is great as always, but she's surrounded by unlikable and predictable characters, and sub-par writing. It's a shame, because I think Olson is strong enough to carry a show... just not this one.

I love Kaitlin Olson from her work with Always Sunny . Sadly this seems to be aiming slightly more at the mainstream audience and has lost almost all humour which i actually find funny. The scripted feel is not my cup of tea, and the storylines are weak. I also don't like the 'family' setting which i guess is just my personal preference, I don't really enjoy watching a disfunctional group of young kids misbehave (ok except I like The Simpsons and Family Guy at least!). This show has provided me with a handful of giggles and so I will continue to watch as that is better than half of the so called sitcoms about today, but I simply can't wait for the new season of Always Sunny In Philidelphia to wash the taste of this out of my mouth ! A loud-mouth anti-social individual as the lead character of a show seems to be the norm these days on television.

There is nothing likeable about the main character nor do the scripts provide anything worth watching.

This is another show destined for one season then tossed into the growing trash heap of failed television programs.

This show might be funny if I was a low-life with no sense of humor, but that's not me. The show is a series of bad SNL skits where one is less funny than the next . I can't believe it wasn't cancelled right after the pilot show.

Critics just can't stand to see a woman leading a show, being messy, hilarious and making fun of the upper class. The nanny, Alba, is the highlight of the show, though.

Is it a tired premise? Is it simple? Sure, but so were The Office, King of the Hill and The Simpsons.

Olson is the saving grace here, with her usual quick-wit, playing the loveable screw-up. I love what this show is trying to do, it's just the writing and execution that is lacking. That said, it elicited some laughter. Hopefully it will grow into itself or hire better writers. Olson definitely deserved her own stage, this just might not do her justice.

This is easy viewing gold! It really hits it's stride around episode 10, i love that there are even dark moments of madness. Great characters and laughs!

One of the funniest shows I've ever seen it is so wild and outrageous. I can't understand how it got canceled?? I hope Netflix or Hulu is smart enough to pick it up. The only gripe I had is I would like to have seen more diversity in the cast/guests stars. Overall, I can't stop re-watching the first 2 seasons, and every time I laugh more.

If you ever longed for the Roadrunner to be turned into Purina Coyote Chow or those little Family Circus kids to be sold to a Honduran sweatshop, The Mick might be for you.

The Mick knows what it is. Knows what it wants to be. And it is pretty uncompromising about that ... although there actually are some warm and fuzzy moments in late episodes. There are also some genuine laughs. Although, after having seen the first four episodes, there aren't as many as there should be.

Believe it or not, the comedy’s not crass enough to really generate the laughs it should.
