    This show is amazing, you will love it. The court scenes are really good.

    TL;DR - these are all the exact same story: Criminal Law (1988) > Lincoln Lawyer (2011) > Lincoln Lawyer (2022, TV). Watch Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon doing some stellar acting instead of... whatever this TV show aspires to be

    Too long. Poorly acted. Lead wasn't right. Story often dragged along. Alternate realities (from books) just didn't gel with logic or rationality. Characters were forgettable, except Haller's 2nd wife. We rate this "not worth seeing but can if you want to."

    meh... not what i expected. The movie was a lot better. $ episodes in n i think ill force myself to finish it another time or just move on n forget about it

    Lot of nonsense and bad law. (Mild spoiler) A lawyer dies in the first episode, and the Lincoln Lawyer gets his practice. He tries one of the dead lawyer's cases and he gets a continuance of one day? Really? 24 hours to learn an entire trial and give his client the best possible defense? Please.

    Also, the main character has a really weird accent that doesn't showcase the Lincoln Lawyer    Lot of nonsense and bad law.     Writing and acting is top notch and I like the LA scenery lens choice giving it a characteristic visual style that is not annoying at all because it is sprinkled throughout separating the more intimate and action sequences. Not overdoing things is kind of rare these days so it is very much a relief.     Dull, dated & predictable while following all the usual tropes leading to this half-baked and ill concieved bore. The less said about some of the acting the better.

    It's a very bingeable show that keeps you guessing, with a very likable lead. It's been #1 on Netflix since it came out, and I can see why.

    It avoids treating its characters as quirky confections, and instead treats them as adults you might actually meet in the real world. ... It’s pretty good and frequently satisfying. That’s more than I can say about a lot of television.

    "Lincoln" is so pleasing in its unpretentiousness. It's not trying to answer big questions, besides whether Mickey's biggest client is innocent. Garcia-Rulfo is a bit stiff at first as the charismatic lawyer, but he quickly grows on you.
