We stopped watching, I have no idea how this ends nor do I care. Expand

And it just falls flat. The pacing seems to be really off. It feels like a slog at the time but also rushed. The main reason is that the TV show spends a lot of time on specific character - for instance how he overcomes great obstacles to get from point A to point B. And suddenly the rest of the cast just appears there as well and as a result something very important happens. Imagine Lord of the Rings but it only follows Aragorn. And he just meets the rest of the characters here and there without much explanation - then we have a final scene of Frodo destroying the ring - only to return back to Aragorn and his victory celebration.

Also the whole thing is filled with cliche and dumb dialogues. Which is not necessarily that bad. It could have been fantastic PG lighthearted fairy tale. But the TV shows takes itself too seriously for that to be the case. It lacks humor - both cheap fart humor that would entertain children but it also lacks adult humor. Just a reference to some adult work of art or wink to political situation here and there would suffice.

Overall if there is literally nothing else you can do while ironing or doing other chores I guess you could watch it? Otherwise it is not worth the bother.

This is one of the best netflix originals, and you should definitly watch it. It is not a perfect show but it has a good cast, good story, poor pacing, and a good plot twist near the end. It is not a perfect show but it has a good cast, good story, poor pacing, and a good plot twist near the end. And unless you don't want your child to see two men kiss on the last episode. That's understandible. But you should still watch this and just skip that one part. I do think that it is good that netflix is starting to stand up to gay men, even though i am not found of them.
