Best show currently on television, the writing, acting and especially the music composed by Max Ritcher is especially haunting. If you do not mind slightly slower paced shows do your self a favor and watch this masterpiece.

From the contradictory song choices, too the amazing acting (Kevin Carroll, Justin Theroux), to the cinematography, to the all out weirdness, it's amazingly executed. It puts me on edge, makes me sad, happy, a bit of everything, i just hope they stick the landing at the end.

Time4Pizza you're a moron. Season 3 is flat-out brilliant. Perhaps not as steady and consistent as Season 2, this season has lower lows, admittedly, but also higher highs, and it's all unmissable TV. The entire series is a cumulative masterpiece. It easily enters my list of the 3 best shows of all time, could very well become #1 with time.

Such a beautiful show/season. Season 1 was a joke, Season 2 a beauty to behold, and Season 3 was just perfection in 8 hours. One of the best finales I have ever watched (I guess Damon Lindelof learnt his lesson from the very horrible Lost finale). Kudos to the makers/cast of this show. Sad to see it end.

You encounter all sorts of overrated movies, tv shows or music these days. The praise for Leftovers season 3 is nothing but well-deserved. Leftovers is the strangest and most immersive experience you will find on tv and its underlying themes pierce the very fundamental psychological issues of mankind. Every second of this series is pure art.

While not answering every single question, The Leftovers does the almost-impossible: it delivers closure. And yes, we don’t get to know ”how”, but we do find out ”what”. Lindelof finally achieves redemption for the awfulness of “Lost”s final season - not since “Six Feet Under”s finale have I felt this content at the ending of a show.

This season was not nominated for this year Emmy´s, and i´m sure they will regret that, because this is a masterpiece, and it will be still be a masterpiece in the years to come.

Absolutely outstanding television. This show is a hidden gem, and some of HBO's best work. Every single season, episode, and shot is a masterpiece in film making. Season 3 ties up everything very nicely, and even surpasses the last two seasons. This show is a work of art and a brilliant reflection of humanity. Do not miss this show.

Just as it's creator Damon Lindelof had done with "Lost", he has made a completely riveting, intelligent, complex, mind boggling and emotional series that defies regular television standards. To do so and keep it thoroughly entertaining with sly, dark humor is quite an accomplishment. I've only seen the first episode of season 3, like most, but I have no doubt I'm going to be just as enthralled as I was for the past two. One complaint: only 8 episodes!? But I'm assuming they have a clear vision on how this story unfolds to its conclusion. I'm going to miss these characters when they're gone. Expand

What an amazing way to end an incredible series (which ended too soon). This season should have definitely been no less than 10 episodes, that being said, the 8 HBO gave them made each and every moment a gift. If you're asking where did the "departed go" you're missing the point of this superior work of human emotion, loss, grief and the beautifully strange story being told. Must watch.

I'd answer: "The Leftovers case". And no, it's not some random set of colorful epithets just to, you know, "full the box". I have expressed myself rather calm and soft. 'Cause this one here deserves all the love and tributes from the audience. Enough with the idle talk, there are some things to elaborate.

First thing to mention is how exactly this series have evolved throughout seasons, 3 seasons to be precise. When we watch the Pilot of any movie we all know that with each year it will only getting worse and worse. Yes, there are some exceptions like BrBa or GoT. However, I must intimate that these two tv shows and a few others from its beginning were just good as they have become closer to the finale. So, Kevin and Nora's situation is way. way different. It took merely 2 years to prove everyone who disliked the first season that this one here is worth your while and it will flourish some day like all kinds of the industry in the 19th century. Indeed it does as we could witness currently.

The Leftovers is that case when each episode is high-day to viewers and not the another hassle you should bear with. And certainly it goes without saying that without Max Richter's work here there would not be tv show at all. Also would like to mention that the fact the show will finish just about a month from now is such a pleasure. Especially after THE LOST oh my God. I really really hope that Lindelof and Perrotta would not screw this baby up, they simply CANNOT.

Looking forward to a next ep, as always. Will see how my opinion will be changing closer to the finale. But I have a feeling that I'll fall in love with this completely and irrevocably.

I typically would not take the time to write a review about a tv series. Despite the many fabulously artistic, well written and acted special series I have enjoyed over the years (increasing better and more cerebral each year I might add...thank you HBO and Showtime as Pioneers and the new players building upon that momentum (A&E, Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix). Despite the brilliance of showsI typically would not take the time to write a review about a tv series. Despite the many fabulously artistic, well written and acted special series I have enjoyed over the years (increasing better and more cerebral each year I might add...thank you HBO and Showtime as Pioneers and the new players building upon that momentum (A&E, Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix). Despite the brilliance of shows such as Weeds, Soparanos, The C Word, Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad, OA, Stranger Things, and now Better Call Saul.., none had pushed me to the point of comment to this degree. The reason being, this series transcends normal television in every way possible and forces me to see life through so many lens I would have normally ignored. It's interesting to see how often I observe parallels with my own life and relationships and how hard and **** life can be sometimes. The 'family' here one minute, gone the next...so true and ever changing in my existence.

The "Great Departure's" mystery best explained or better yet proclaimed as the rapture. The rest of us, 'Leftovers' are not only seemingly not "pure of heart and our judgement will continue. As if that wasn't enough, we are expected to navigate our ****, meaningless lives with no real answers and seeming unresolved closure for anyone or anything we lost. Yet, the brilliance is how life finds and way to go on in so many new ways. People form cults, and take power through scamming the weak.. The GR seems as such an example but we learn through time there are seemingly more sinister and we have to see how (if ever) that truly plays out since they have been relatively absent in the first 6 episodes. Human nature and society tends to desire closure, the GR's blatant purpose to force us to remember should be their first worst attribute, but we sense that's just the tip of the iceberg.

As a Chemist, I love the interesting dictomy between fact and faith. The sciencetists are working very hard to show how science can explain all of it away. That is being strongly overshadowed by a world who population largely follows some form of religion. Admittedly, I have always leaned towards fact over faith. This series propellers me to look deeper, believe stronger, and work harder to find the equilibrium that just might tick into place on October 15th in Melbourne. While we know many loose end will remain, one thing is ubundantly clear to me, we have been witnessing pure genius in the writing, cast, and the lyal fans who have "lived" this series for the past 3 years. Bravo!

Some of the best acting, directing and ephemeral atmosphere on television. There's so much to say about every episode of The Leftovers, much less to say about the first six episodes of a new season collectively, but the easiest thing to say is that it's not too late to tune in and be awed and confused.
