    The series has gone from interesting to horrible, the writing is exclusively driven by the new desire to empower women and the LGBT community at the expense to being accurate and believable. The 2 lesbian scenes we see week to week have no bearing on the script. A fight in the mess hall had to be broken up my 120 pound soaking wet females. The all female helicopter crew that had to save the day while the entire crew could not hid the broad side of a barn. The final straw was the Central America leader is being controlled by a women using terra cards… Expand

    After nine episodes the contrived nature of the story, laughable premise, and desire to burn through the entire cast that was untouchable for four season is unfortunate. I came back in the hopes that the final season would have better writers, but this was mostly CG, tropes, and implausibility, with no substance unless you consider the hyperbole of America vs the world.     I've watched this show from the beginning. It's been entertaining with some interesting plot twists. Of course it's a guilty pleasure fantasy scifi program with an America first theme and the hero seems a cross between Commander Shepherd and John Wayne. After 5 seasons though it's time. I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends
