This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The first part of the first episode would be intriguing enough, if they hadn’t nullified all of the mystery in the first phrase of the official trailer (and the cheesy “digital” intro). This series was really odd. The oddest thing being, I watched all of it! I skipped through quite a bit of the last couple of episodes (every man has his limit), but I really wanted to see what would happen in the end. More due to a morbid curiosity, akin to not being able to look away while passing by a car crash, than actual interest in the characters. Seems like they started with (too many) good concepts, but none were really developed. Instead of a character’s backstory being tied to a character’s personality, they are either too obvious, or completely random. Too many characters, and not enough time (or interest) to round them out. If you like intelligent characters interacting in meaningful, logical ways, and communicating articulately and eloquently... this isn’t it. The entertainment value is for us to point out the flaws in dialogue, editing (they reused that mom killing scene waay too many times!), or the cheap effects, set dressing, lighting, color correction, acting... basically, the fun comes from feeling good about yourself by noting how you would do it all differently. Mind you, this also applies to pretty much EVERYTHING that each and every character does. The island itself is nice, though. Expand

This show as the worst dialogues ever written in history. Each line will make you cringe. The rest of the show is equaly bad: atrocious script, acting, editing...

Probably the worse Netflix series yet. All they do is fight with each other. It is like it never ends. I only was able to watch 2 episodes before I got annoyed with it. I was really expecting it to be closer to what people would really do if stranded on a island. But it was far from it. Expand
