Here, an annoying point has already been reached because of the lack of depth and how incredibly dumb June's character has become. Here the drama reaches a lethargic point and only to a certain extent can a character be striking when she is only drowning in her suffering, especially when she has already had the opportunity to escape. This season lost a lot of strength.

Season 3 has been slow (similar to season two). It’s as if I have watched the same storyline and no progress has been made. They need to add more depth and a change of pace before people get over the same dark depressing scenes...

Yes, the pace is slow but the show is so thoughtful, relevant and well-acted. Not to mention the superb cinematography. Each scene is like a painting. Still one of the best show out there!

INSTIGANTE E IRRESISTÍVEL. O seriado mostra a fúria da protagonista que se tornou maior que o país autoritário em que ela está submetida.

"Night" is an uplifting (as far as it can get on this show), emotionally draining, visually stunning season opener that is, honestly, a breath of fresh air. Both Elisabeth Moss and Yvonne Strahovski soar, proving once again that they're some of the best actors in the industry. And Alexis Bledel will make your heart skip a beat - she's just as good as she's always been. The cinematography & score are unsurprisingly exceptional and completely elevate this episode. Please watch this season if you didn't like S2. Praised be! Expand

Praise Be. Not only is this a great show, but I think it's generating a groundswell of criticism against the mistreatment of women in our world. Boring. Every episode is near the same, June stares into the camera with a 'Oh just wait until next week, **** is going to go down' the **** never goes down. S3 is a snooze fest.

The season is messy but the end is amazing. It is all so real. I am looking forward for the season 4 and believe it should be the last one.

Felt incomplete overall and silly half the time. I would have scrapped the storyline and made it about getting Hannah. Had to push myself to keep watching. Wbig step down from season 1 and 2

Despite some horrible storyline through the season, the finale gives me some high hopes for the upcoming season.

The second half of this season is pretty great, but the first half dragged so much that it also dragged my overall score for the season down. Pacing is clearly an issue for the writers and they need to decide what the endgame for this series is. One thing this show can not be faulted on is it's first episodes. I appreciate the transition from being a show about the oppressed to being a beginning of a revolution. It hits it's previous marks with less conviction but just as fascinating but even so all you want is for it to end. How long can it be palatable for this story to go in circles (June risks losing her life/tries to rescue hannah and fails/Serena uncharacteristically reacts to June's insubordination with June gaining no permanent damage/another opportunity to escape which June rejects again) it's now just a mission to watch it end. Don't get me wrong it is still good but it feels like a sentence without a full stop, a book without a last page. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. There comes a time when the horror of a show becomes to much to comprehend. Mouth staples is that time. Total and utter subjugation of women is past good TV viewing. This show better have a solution pretty soon or it becomes unwatchable. Thumbs down for Series 3 Episode 6. Expand

I was waiting for season 7 so much, and I am so disappointed. It looks like the makers ran out of ideas and everything just stalls. June's behavior becomes erratic with no point or direction, Serena keeps moving like a pendulum from being good to being evil, Emily suddenly goes into an emotional stupor, etc.

Worst season. They want to milk the character June and they don't want her to leave for Canada. They want her to stay in Gilead so that they can torture us with slow moving more episodes.

A major disappointment. It tries way too hard to be either a Sci-fi or a thriller. Seasons 1 and 2 were, great, but this one is a letdown. How did they fit so many plot holes? It's a mess. I hope Season 4 will fix these issues in 2021.

While the emotional kick of the first 2 seasons seems to be on the wane, this season focuses on fighting back even if it takes a while to get there.
Still a powerful and entertaining show though.

With a different commander we have a new dynamic. We also got the Boomtown Rats singing I Don't Like Mondays, which was left-field. Much needed are these spots of light amid the darkness.

This isn't a show about a woman running away anymore. This is a show about women fighting back.

What’s strange about “Handmaid’s Tale” three seasons deep is that it keeps hammering home its greatest hits to the detriment of the possible new avenues it could explore. ... Bledel remains a standout as she portrays Emily’s hesitation and longing. ... Her story is the kind of intimate horror that “The Handmaid’s Tale” once excelled at homing in on, but in its determination to make June a #resistance figure, it keeps leaving its most potentially effective moments by the wayside.
