While the hosts sometimes act too stupid that it feels painful to watch, the show has improved considerably by removing boring segments. The scripts are sharper, the specials more entertaining, and the cars more lush.

three presenters that left top gear on its peak and took their experience and quality and made a gem of a series that everyone with classic humor should enjoy

The trio at their best! Clarkson, Hammond and May deliver seamless wit, comedy and factual entertainment (With the help of Mr. Wilman).

The Grand Tour is an excellent show featuring neat cars, comedy and fun travel adventures across the world. Clarkson, Hammond and May never fail to entertain and keep the spirit from their Top Gear days alive and well.

If you are a fan of Topgear (pre Clarkson's removal by the BBC) then you will like The Grand Tour. It's got a higher budget and better shot overall. The best episodes are the specials - with the usual crazy adventures. Not so much of a fan ofIf you are a fan of Topgear (pre Clarkson's removal by the BBC) then you will like The Grand Tour. It's got a higher budget and better shot overall. The best episodes are the specials - with the usual crazy adventures. Not so much of a fan of "Converstaion Street", felt all a bit scripted. This is the worst problem with The Grand Tour compared to old Top Gear; The feeling of everything being scripted is a theme of The Grand Tour. The fact that old Top Gear had this feeling of more impromptue events and dialogue, even if that feeling is misplaced. That is why The Grand Tour is not a good as top gear. I love the charisma between the 3 presenters, but it just isnt what it used to be. Now we are at season 4 and its starting to feel a bit tired, the team need to think of somthing to spice it up or it's lifespan may be coming to it's end. Having said that, i still love James, Jeremy and Hammond. Lets hope they find a way of putting life into this series again!… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Both on The Grand Tour and beforehand on Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are truly the "Awesome Threesome." There is a special chemistry between these three that you cannot create or recreate, it only comes organically after being on the same show for so many years. Their humorous and crazy challenges and antics, along with their controversial remarks and rambunctiousness that made them world famous on Top Gear continues on The Grand Tour. A true testament to this "Awesome Threesome" is that all three feel like they picked up where they left off from Top Gear. Seasons 2 and 3 are the high points of the series where it sometimes becomes an "Awesome Foursome" with their test racing driver being a powerful badass woman in race car driver Abbie Eaton, who sometimes races against them besides just sending cars down the track.… Expand

Truly excellent show. Each season getting better than the last as they iron out the kinks, but even the lesser episodes are still better than most shows. The better episodes (most of them) being seriously great.
