The Good Wife was great - even-handed (for the most part), well-written, etc. As an Australian, it is embarrassing how some Americans 'dealt with' the existential threat of someone they didn't like getting elected for four years. Absolutely pathetic and deranged TDS.

I really enjoyed this shows first two seasons and is a decent spinoff from the good wife.

My only complaint is that the political narrative takes away from the show itself, it's obvious that the writers of this show detest Donald Trump but they're only hurting their own show by using it as a means of preaching their politics at the viewer in my opinion.

I like this show a lot, the first season was excellent by-the-book TV, but these days it seems to have been written by crazy people. Is there some new drug out there that good writers are taking?

Too much profanity! Why? What happened to being creative with language? So it morphed to one more mediocre series along the line of all other f... word shows. Very sad.

First off: I'm French and look at the Trump presidency with the same disbelief and despondency that the majority of Americans, Europeans and many characters of this show display on screen.
That said, the correct response is not to fall into the hysterical and neurotic state of mind of a Diane Lockhart or the smug moralistic arrogance of that most annoying egotistical character Marissa.

The ultra-feminism is nauseating in its simplistic and narcissistic approach, as is the caricature of race and gender relationships...and alienates viewers like me.
All this only feeds the beast and the trolls and actually gives fodder to the Trump army.
This show is just the exact same thing as Fox News, just on the left.

All the other story lines have been cannibalised by this Quixotic quest for the highest moral ground. It is so much on the nose, with so little room for nuance, no possibility for the viewer to ponder the actions and motivations of the protagonists (which made the Good Wife for great viewing) that it is instantly and utterly boring as well as insulting the intelligence of aforementioned audience.

From what I've seen so far, it's the best show on TV right now! I especially like how "current" it is. And to those who don't like the blatant racial and gender issues in the show--well, that's America! Get used to it.

The haunting residue of the original "Good Wife" is hard to ignore. As the struggle of "Good Fight" continues to become its own. And for that sacrificing array of male actors seemed like the right move for the show-runners but there are few trajectories that tends to lean on bias. The end is not here but you can see it from here. The current tendencies of modern day Broadcasting, The "PC" and "feminism" are at its peak here. But i believe this show is smart enough to keep the balance. I prefer binge watching this show as weekly viewing might leave a person craving for either answers or for more snide towards "MEN". But its not disrespect, the cases they are handling are not false or incorrect. Its just ... the concentration of constantly finding "MEN" being prosecuted for their transgressions. Well its not going away. its here to stay in this TV Show. Still Acting and direction is great. Excluding the jack of all trade Marissa Gold. Expand

The Good Wife spinoff has now become fully its own thing – even if that thing, with its welter of tones and moods, from levity to despair, and frequently experimental forms (the episode also included a cartoon song video explaining non-disclosure agreements, on top of the talking pellet wounds) – resists simple classification.

The Good Fight is worth discovering for yourself on its own merits, and it’s a lot easier to recommend it now. Sometimes, there’s something to be said for quality and quantity.

Sometimes season 3 of a top-tier series empowers creators to swing hard for the fences, a play that doesn’t always turn out well. These new episodes of The Good Fight do, thank god. Each of the four new hours provided to critics display creators and showrunners Robert and Michelle King connecting to the ball with awe-inspiring power, covering a vast swath of current events without overly stuffing each episode with didactic, do-gooder fury.
