Still like the premise. Still dislike the scripts. The writers still don’t understand how an autistic man would would relate to others and therefore little rings true in the scripts. Sean is supposed to be a medical savant and that still doesn’t show in the plot lines often enough.

The supporting cast is mediocre and due to the sub par scripts come off as weak. This show is on life

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Ededed makes a valid point about the premise. I would also like to see Dr. Murphy’s autism be more central to the stories. Example: season 2, Episode 15 was dramatic and on point. Murphy’s diagnostic skills moved the plot, and the hour was riveting. This new move to pathology may return the focus to Murphy. I hope so. The peripheral players, especially Dr. Glassman, (a great actor, but wasted here after Murphy’s backstory was developed) get too much airtime. Now that Daniel Day Kim has stepped into his own production, maybe the scripts will tighten up. More Hill Harper, more DDK and of course more Drs. Murphy, Reznick and Browne, and the show will sustain. (Love the entire cast, but dial the others down a bit). Expand
