This season is a repeat of last season. All the same problems and all the same speeches. It is predicable and boring. I keep hoping they bring back the fun of last season. This season is all about depression and pouting. I'm not going to give spoilers but they haven't surprised me yet this year.

This season of The Flash isn't anywhere near horrible, but it isn't as polished as the first. The season is essentially the last season being recycled. I still like Grant Gustin's character and Carlos Valdes' as well. Season 2 continues the show's light tone, heartfelt scenes, genuine humor, and unique visuals to make for an entertaining superhero show that remains one of the best on television

The best CW TV Show. Funny, dramatic and with a lot of action and sci-fi. The show evolved very much in this season, the fidelity to the comic books is perfect, i believe that no flash fan are unsatisfied.

So far the second season of The Flash hasn’t let viewers down.
I am waiting for the return of Harrison Wells AKA Zoom.
What would be really interesting is if the real Harrison Wells emerges from a parallel dimension and how the Flash team would react.

I had to stop watching this horrible show. I loved the first season, it was so awesome! But season 2 became a TV drama where there were more romantic/dramatic scenes than fight scenes. The Flash really let me down.

The Flash take ridiculous to a new level. It is like a soap opera with some computer generated action scenes. Really stupid show. This show is for teenagers, not adults.

As a whole, the Flash is still a great show. In my opinion, it's the second best superhero show on TV right now, only being slightly beat by Arrow. But this season is not as good as last season, not by a long shot. For starters, the amount of personal drama on the show has gotten horrible. Second off, the mystery elements that made season one so good just aren't here anymore. Nonetheless,As a whole, the Flash is still a great show. Season 1 was good but with a new big bad by the name of Zoom leading the way this season It has carried the show to new heights. This is what a super hero show is supposed to be. Fun, dramatic, smart and action packed The Flash is one of the best shows going. This season Zoom brings a horrifying bad guy to the table that will actually frighten you everytime he shows up on screen. DC's The Flash remains smart, cocky and fun in its sophomore season, delivering thrills and a complex plot while developing its sprawling characters well.

Keep up the good work!!!! The co-stars need more back story. We got flash but how did everyone else end up at STAR LABS? A Flash real romance wouldn't hurt.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. ** Spoilers** I wanted to start by saying that after watching 46 episodes of this show, more than once, I don't see how WB can pick any other actor to play The Flash. This kid on the TV show is definitely, The Flash. Anyway, I digress. Season 2 was highly flawed. A combination of lazy writing, and miscasting, ex. Jesse Quick and Wally West, both of whom can't act. We were emotionally connected and invested to Ronnie in Season 1 and then they go and kill him off in the first episode of Season 2. Thanks a lot CW. The Zoom reveal, lazy. From what I read, The Flash is your number 1 show, and yet, all the emphasis seemed to be placed on your spin off show, and therefore, The Flash, this season suffered tremendously. One strong point of Season 1, was that Barry did not have a relationship. Linda lasted 2 episodes at the most. His focus was on being The Flash, saving his mother and Iris. With that said, Patty Spivot was a major weakness in the show. Don't you understand Berlanti corp? that the people watching Flash and Arrow are not teeny boppers? They are hardcore action lovers and comic lovers. We do not want to see this lovey dovey crap. We want to see Barry focus on being The Flash -- like he did in Season 1. I stopped watching Arrrow in Season 3 when I realized that the show was turing into a soap opera and I will do the same for this show. Stop with the villain of the week!!! This isn't 1995 TV anymore. With shows like Daredevil and Game of Thrones, aim higher for crying out loud!! Don't be happy with the status quo. This show deserves more. I just paid $50 whopping dollars for the Season 2 Blueray and for what? For bad writing, sappy love stories and more BS decisions that Barry will make in Season 3? Please Andrew Kreisberg, hear my plea!!!! Expand

Preserves momentum and dynamic of previous. The resource of alternative universes is a few confusing but is well compensated with thrilling climax that develops expectations (Flashpoint?) for third season.

Season 2 had the responsibility of not just living on the hype of Season 1, but also to balance out the pathetic Arrow Season 3 and 4. Alongside this there was also Supergirl which was, well, cringy to say the least. And the problems hadn't ended just here. Marvel had come up with Daredevil, which was obviously better than these shows. Marvel had come up with Daredevil, which was obviously better than these shows. And The Flash didn't disappoint (ironic considering what it became in future). This time the villain was Zoom, who was from Earth-2 and hunting down all the speedsters (because "Hunter" Zolomon, get it?). Dr Harrison Wells from Earth-2 and Jay Garrick are also here to help Flash stop Zoom once and for all. At this point the CGI of the show had also started to give in, but I won't count it as a problem because this is a TV serial, not some Netflix or Prime Original. There are also crossover episodes from Arrow and Supergirl, and a setup of Legends of Tomorrow. It was a great season, if only we knew how the quality was going to fall from here. Expand

Nitpicks aside, though, The Flash is definitely off to a strong start, proving that last year most definitely wasn’t a fluke. Building on the history of what’s come before and adding a lot of new elements which are sure to pay off at some point over the course of the next 22 episodes, season 2 of The Flash has all the makings of another amazing year of television.

The whole season promises to be about head-spinning paradox, as exec producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg and their writers are boldly venturing into multiverse territory.

Although these series can’t compete with feature budgets, The Flash delivers enough action to effectively work on that level, and has developed a strong array of characters to function as a drama, peppered with humor that happily avoids the trap of camp.... This CW series--seemingly emboldened by its success--isn’t hitting the brakes at all as it races into the future, or the past, or wherever its two-dimensional roots might lead it.
