This show is.... pathetic.
Granted, I'm a young, politically moderate-conservative female, but even the typical liberal comedians, like Amy Schumer and Sasha Baron Cohen, are original and laugh-out-loud hilarious at times. I don't know whatThis show is.... pathetic.
Granted, I'm a young, politically moderate-conservative female, but even the typical liberal comedians, like Amy Schumer and Sasha Baron Cohen, are original and laugh-out-loud hilarious at times. I don't know what I'm watching when I watch Trevor Noah. It's not news, it's not entertaining... he is not talented in his writing (if he doubles as a writer for the show), his delivery, voice impressions, nor is he clever in imbuing us viewers with any truly original thought. He can't sing... he isn't captivating in any way, shape or form.
My dad's girlfriend is South African, so I was kind of interested in what he had to say, considering I had only ever personally known one South African in my life. But this dude and his "show" are just.... garbage.
And racist.

Trevor Noah isn't a comedian. He's a spoiled little putz that has been given an unearned platform to spread his bitter, hateful leftist idiocy. When I say dead wrong I mean that we all wish Noah would die and CC would find someone that is actually funny. I didn't agree with everything Stewart said but he laughed at all sides. Noah can't even make a funny joke about one side key alone the obvious and blatant joke that is the DNC, Biden, Harris, and the walking corpses that represent the slave owning Democrat party. Maybe coming from South Africa, Noah has zero concept of real American history except the erroneous essay about 1619. What a shame that he is a terribly undeserving HB1 jerk who jumped the line to a lot of people who did deserve to immigrate to the US. He necessary deserved to be accepted.… Expand

This show is so incredibly not funny. Noah has NOTHING going for him:

You can’t even blame Noah’s choice solely on the woke agenda. There were/are plenty of funny and qualified minorities they could have choose. I want to know why they chose him/what they saw. And before any trigger baby attacks me, I am socially liberal man from a religious minority and have been married for 13 years to a minority (black on mother’s side and Mexican on dad’s).… Expand

Ummmm… you’re aren’t funny and everything isn’t about race. I remember when the daily show was funny. This used to be a very enjoyable show and actually my favorite late night but sadly Trevor Noah has become just another typical late night show host who is completely bent over for the mainstream media and the left. If him or his writers had any balls or actually stood for comedy, you’d have more diversity in who you criticize. Also, why are you still filming from home? The only thing funny about this show is that the press is clearly towing the company line when they write "positive reviews". Noah is such a "try hard" and has clearly never gotten over his idenity crisis while living in the US. His takes and delivery is so cringe, it's like when I'd try and bring my white friends to African student union events and they would just regurgitate something they read from James Baldwin to try and score with black girls and get "street cred". The most depressing thing of all is I really think Noah feels like his POV cutting edge, meanwhile CC execs are just laughing at this dudes fragmented indignity and the social media buzz his hack material creates. Trevor Noah ruined the show that Stewart championed. His jokes and the overall writing is awful. He literally uses the same stupid voice to mock everyone like he’s 8 years old. I know we’re supposed to like him for his rags to riches story, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how he became popular in the first place. His jokes don’t land, he’s politically and racially biased, and his cultural commentary isn’t even clever. As far as I can tell he’s simply a diversity hire to draw in black progressive viewers who are offended by the many black comedians out there with actual talent, but who simultaneously seek political outrage that aligns with their world views. Noah also has a history of crying bloody murder at racial jokes about blacks, but we’re supposed to ignore his own tendency to mock Jews, women, and white people. He’s thin skinned, unfunny, and not worth anyones time.… Expand
