Dec 27, 2014Amazing story on Hollywood and the desperation to stay keep working in the industry at all and any cost. The performance by Lisa Kudrow is amazing and deserves all the accolades it has received. An incredible dramedy and at times a sad and very heart wrenching story.

Nov 12, 2014The Comeback is amazing. This season started and, although all the actors that were on the first season got (much) older, I couldn't tell there was a 9 year hiatus. It was just as hilarious as always and Lisa Kudrow was terrific as Valerie Cherish. This season is amazing and, as far as I can tell, it'll be maybe even better than the already great first season.

Nov 15, 2014It's amazing how they kept the same essence from the previous season. Valerie Cherish return just as irreverent, and Lisa's amazing acting brings a new life to the character. A must-watch to everyone's sunday nights.

Sep 17, 2015Mostly literal repeat of Season One (which I liked, by the way). Season Two is better edited but I watched the first 7 episodes of Season Two and there is practically no new footage (no more than 2%). Of course in 2014 the cast was 9 years older, so new footage would be a problem. Unless you're really a fan of HyperMeta you can easily skip Season Two: It's not new.

The Comeback is as spiny and audacious as the original, but very different, because it isn’t aimed at “celebreality” or network sitcoms, now dated targets.
-
The concept is interesting, but it would have been more fun to show Valerie in a less high-stakes setting.
-
It would all be terribly sad it if it weren't so incredibly funny.
