    How did Michelle Wolf get a show? Netflix seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for content. And how does a person that looks like that make fun of anyone's looks? Regardless of your politics... she just isn't funny. But even if she was it would be really hard to watch the show because that voice of hers makes your ears bleed.

    First off, I don't have a problem with any of the material or topics, I just didn't find the show to be funny at all. The humor wasn't there. I'm not sure if that falls on the format, the writing, or the delivery, but something isn't working. Michelle Wolf definitely had some heat coming off the Correspondents Dinner, but it seems she is cooling quickly.     I would rather snort fire ants than listen to another second of this harpy's shrill voice. Maybe you could suffer through it if she actually made jokes or was funny in the slightest.

    In general the humour is much too weak – to the point where the audience are audibly not laughing very much, and Wolf says things like "f*ck you, that was a great joke" or "it’s my birthday, you have to like that joke".

    She's also way too into her material or delivery, and laughs at most of the jokes herself. This is basically the opposite of what real comedians do. One extreme example    In general the humour is much too weak – to the point where the audience are audibly not laughing very much, and Wolf says things like "f*ck you, that was a great joke" or "it’s my birthday, you have to like that joke".

    She's also way too into her material or delivery, and laughs at most of the jokes herself. This is basically the opposite of what real comedians do. One extreme example is Sarah Silverman's deadpan delivery, but then again she dares so much more than Wolf.

    I'm not sure who Wolf's heroes are, but it doesn't seem to be any of the comedians famous for pushing the envelope. She has a LOT to learn from those people – for example women like Nikki Glaser, Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and of course Sarah Silverman. Or guys like Jeff Ross, David Spade, Anthony Jeselnik and Don Rickles.

    Couple this with the explicit hatred for anything on the right side of the political spectrum and the fact that she literally calls politicians for "nazis", and you have a recipe for very predictable jokes, themes and delivery.

    The format gets very old after just two or three episodes, and I'm writing this after S01E05. This show desperately needs better writers, and a host that isn't so into herself.    … Expand

    Vulgar, immature and completely devoid of humor. Ms Wolf is no more entertaining than an adolescent girl in juvenile detention.

    It's a courageous tactic to begin a new comedy show without bringing any comedy. Kudos to Wolf for motivating me enough to review her low brow garbage.

    It is poorly written, poorly executed, and poorly characterized. It is quite obvious this young woman does not have any single clue how to turn a good joke, create a punch line or just have fun. Politically correctness exudes from every pore of her body, as a result it is not comedy: it is a bland rehash of pseudo-nerdy pseudo-intellectual very-PC lefty attacks.     wow....one of the worst half hours ever....I laughed a few times...but wanted to laugh more....the ads were bad, the actors non descript...Who is Neal Brennan? The Dj just looked lost...and all the people in the credits: to think they make money creating this..jeez and her low voice is awful too...sorry, this is just lousy all around..she's as bad as Sara Palin....

    So yes Michelle Wold is well aware that her voice is likely to incite panic attacks in the elderly and most small animals but if you can past that its actually pretty funny.

    Two episodes in its still finding its feet but Michelle's self aware awkwardness works to my sense of humor, its the first time in a long times I have actually chortled out loud at something. The mix and match of    So yes Michelle Wold is well aware that her voice is likely to incite panic attacks in the elderly and most small animals but if you can past that its actually pretty funny.

    Look its certainly not going to appeal to everyone, you will know inside of an episode whether its for you or not but please be an adult and dont bash it because it doesnt suit your politics.    … Expand

    Michelle Wolf is funny and fearless, and the first episode of this new series, while a little tentative in a few places, was by-and-large a success. That's totally expected / acceptable from a debut show. There were many more hits than misses though, and that bodes well for the remainder of the run as it gathers pace. I laughed a lot and I'm looking forward to tuning in as she hits herMichelle Wolf is funny and fearless, and the first episode of this new series, while a little tentative in a few places, was by-and-large a success. That's totally expected / acceptable from a debut show. There were many more hits than misses though, and that bodes well for the remainder of the run as it gathers pace. I laughed a lot and I'm looking forward to tuning in as she hits her groove in the weeks to come. I'm really enjoying all the '0' scores on here from Republicans / Trump boosters, incidentally.     Shortly after Netflix rewarded Michelle Wolf with her own Netflix sponsored show, they declared there would be no more user reviews allowed. This is all part of the extreme Leftist platform of programming via Netflix. They, Netflix, can't abide criticism, and are intent on feeding propaganda to the viewing public.
