Too much talking, inconsistent writing, and overall just not a good show. It’s like they truly want this character to be deconstructed from a mysterious tough one that even Vader took seriously down to an old man (it’s only been 5 years since ROTJ except for when they are in the many flashbacks) and again he takes second fiddle to Fennec who seems to be the real leader and tough person of this show. The Rey syndrome again. Tem Morrison (Boba) said himself “the character talks too much and takes his helmet off too much. It takes away from the mystery,” and I’ll add that it makes him seems too soft with Fennec always taking the lead and being better at the actual action while he chases robot rat catchers. Turned Boba into a joke. The constant flashbacks make it almost incoherent storytelling at times. Bad writing as said in my previous reviews. Thankfully 5-6 are amazing. Sadly they don’t feature the titular character. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I thought this episode was almost ok, but Boba acted like a massive idiot on several occasions.

When he gets his ship back, Fennec does ALL the work. It would have been much better if Boba mowed down a few guards once he got in his ship, but no, Fennec just shoots them all while he's messing around. If I was her I would have ditched him first opportunity I got, he acts like a total incompetent and a liability to be around.

In the same vein, him going back to the Sarlacc pit didn't make any sense. Can't he remember that his armours not there? Does he seriously not remember his escape? Also why did Boba think it would be a good idea to jam his spaceship into the Sarlacc pit? He knows there is a giant monster in there.... he acts like a total idiot. They should have just had him blow up the sarlacc like the nikto biker gang, it would have been cool and made it a nice and long revenge montage. But no, Boba acts like an idiot and gets saved by Fennec.... again.

Also, why does he walk around with his helmet in his hands? he literally never did it before this show. He's gone from wearing his helmet literally all the time, to always holding it in his hands. Not only is it less cool, it's totally inconsistent.

Still, the episode was less boring than some of the previous episodes. It is also salvagable - if they'd changed just a few terrible storytelling decisions it would have been quite good.

Such an improvement from 3. I see why the speeder chase from 3 really turned people off, but this one was genuinely great.
