    I really, really wanted season 10 to be better, oh, how much I wanted season 10 to be better.

    It is better than seasons 8 and 9, but that is not saying a lot. Seasons 8 and 9 set the bar quite low, oh so low. TBBT has turned from a unique and humorous TV show about geeks in a non-geek world into yet another hang-out sitcom with trite sitcom situations.     TBBT has turned from a unique and humorous TV show about geeks in a non-geek world into yet another hang-out sitcom with trite sitcom situations.

    Bernadette is expecting a baby. The contractions are getting closer. Oops, false alarm. OK, now the contractions start again and its not a false alarm. Chaos as everyone tries to get to the hospital. Oh wow, this scenario has never been done in as sitcom before.

    And the laff track. The obnoxious, intrusive laff track. The laughs on the laff track are so much more prominent than the comedy of the scene has earned. When the producers feel they need to tell me when I should be laughing, that alone should be a big red flag for them that something is amiss in this comedy show. But that simple fact seems to be lost on the producers of TBBT.

    Oh for the good old days when The Big Bang Theory actually was funny enough to have a live studio audience laughing.

    Speaking of a live studio audience... the show now feels as if it is pieced together in an editing room. The continuity of the show within a scene is lost. It almost appears as if the actors are recorded in the scene separately, and placed into the script by an editor. The soul of the character is lost in the lack of continuity within a scene. The actors seems to be reading lines instead of acting a role. (though, Mr Parsons' character does seem a lot less plastic this season. He's trying. )

    On the plus side, the actors do seem to enjoy working together. Will that be enough to carry the show forward?

    I wish I knew.

    For me, this show is on the verge of being removed from my TiVo's ToDo list. It is not worth watching anymore.    … Expand

    Penny and Leonard's marriage didn't add anything new to this show. To be honest they seem like a typical bored married couple. The chemistry of "what if" when they were dating is gone. Howard Walowitz is still funny but Raj and the comic book store owner are not. If it wasn't for Jim Parsons, "The Big Bang Theory" would have been cancelled years ago. Parsons still manages to breathe lifePenny and Leonard's marriage didn't add anything new to this show. To be honest they seem like a typical bored married couple. The chemistry of "what if" when they were dating is gone. Howard Walowitz is still funny but Raj and the comic book store owner are not.     You can't call marriage of lead characters "Story" , you should have twists and mysteries often , otherwise you will disappoint your 20 Millions viewers...

    This show hit rock bottom and it's not giving any sign that it's going to go up even a little.
    The first episode from season ten it's not even a bad TBBT, this show lost it's soul and looks like a crappy generic sitcom.
