KyleighHFeb 11, 2006I never liked this show. Even though I've never seen, I've read about in TV Guide. This is a total rip-off of Donald Trump's "The Apprentice". Why did Martha Stewart have to do this? Why couldn't she have gone back to her cooking show or something. Martha should be ashamed of herself for ripping off the "Apprentice".

APFeb 23, 2006I loved watching both apprentice shows. So Martha isn't an explosive hothead like Trump. It was still fun to watch.

CherylMNov 10, 2005This version to me is much better than Donald Trump... I think people expect her to be like Donald, but she is not...She does things with class and I like that...

If you've seen the original with Donald Trump, there is scarcely a need to view this carbon copy.
-
Like "Martha," in which she is required to appear interested in celebrities and to whip up the crowd, "The Apprentice" is not a perfect fit.

There is no fear in this show or any of the doom, shame, ignominy or flat-out reprobation that comes with getting one's head handed to one by the Donald.... Without fear, there is no danger and without danger, no drama.
