Summary: Welcome to the Tenchi Muyo! GXP guide at TV.Com.Seina Yamada is the most unlucky guy in the World. To make things worse, bad luck always seems to occur to those around Seina as well. His luck may be changing though. Seina is one of the first earthlings admitted into the GP, and he has tons of girls chasing after him. Will Seina be able to survive? Find out on Tenchi Muyo! GXP.As the first Tenchi-related series to be fully computer animated, the producers of Tenchi Muyo! GXP were able to make two different versions of the show. The Japanese DVD release features scenes that are slightly different to the TV broadcast version. In most cases, these altered scenes replace some backgrounds with more detailed versions, recompose some shots and remove the towels from the female characters in the bath. FUNimation is the studio that wrote up GXP translated scripts, and they've tried to remain faithful. GXP is the first work FUNi has done outside their studio, as they went to Animaze for the VA's, but as always, translations lose some meanings. Luckily, the FUNi DVD's contain both the English and Japanesse versions, so you can see the differences. To see these changes, and more of the details mentioned above, watch Tenchi Muyo! GXP. All 8 volumes and a starter pack are now available from FUNimation.English opening them song: You know you bring me sadness, midnight. You ought to give me your love midnight! With no warning, while I ate an apple today, I realized I'm not a child, and that's the way it stays. I'm looking for a dreary love that's wandered far away. I close me eyes and try to live for today. I really think I love you, oh, but the red moon is watching my every move. I reach out my hand to touch your soft face . . . you're so close. You know you bring me sadness midnight. You ought to give me your love, midnight! I can see deep within your puzzled eyes, My passion's not alone. The sun comes out at midnight. Will you love me, midnight?English closing theme song: You're the worst, the most unlucky, boy in all the universe. I don't really care what you do. I don't really care what you do. You know you can't escape disaster, Even if you're careful, you're still a potential disgrace. I don't really care what you do. I really don't care what you do. You've got accident and trouble sent, written boldly all over your face. Aaah . . . Unlucky boy . . . You're such an unlucky boy, you're such an unlucky boy, so full of woe. You're just a walking time bomb anywhere...
